You know it's pretty when you let your daughter roam thru NY Night Clubs drinking under age, ride on her coat-tails, then expect everyone to feel sorry for her when she's repeatedly in the hosptial for reported bogas reasons. If she has asthma, why is she out smoking, dancing and drinking in smoke filled night clubs? No wonder she's dehydrated? if your gonna to party like a rock star learn to face the consequences of your actions. Obviously her mother has taught her NOTHING about life and reality. She'll be done by the time she 25 it's obvious she can't handle, fame the press or her own money.

You let your 5-year old watch a show filled with blatant trashy sexual innuendo, and hold up a spoiled, slutty, alcoholic heiress as a role model for her? Your daughter's "dream" of Paris coming to your small town is in fact a gross manifestation of your own pathetic desire to simply be close to something "famous". Real dreams involve going to college, meeting a great person and getting married, maybe starting a business, or perhaps even something altruistic like teaching children or becoming a coach for a kid's sports team. Hell, even something as self-indulgent and pointless as mountain climbing can be infinitely more rewarding, educational, and instrumental in one's character development than anything involving the "stars" of The Simple Life. Meeting Paris Hilton is the most pathetic "dream" I have ever heard of, and I can't imagine a parent aiming lower for their child. Grow the hell up yourself, and save your child (and this country) from a life of mediocrity. Trust me on this one, the world contains many bigger and brighter things than American celebrities, especially the ones who can't act, sing, dance, play an instrument, or otherwise contribute a single c-hair of originality to the world we live in. Would you rather your daughter grew up to be a doctor that worked towards curing cancer, or a vapid and self-absorbed internet sex-tape star who routinely crashes her vehicle into others when leaving clubs in a drunken, chronic-fueled haze? PS: Yes, I have met her. No, it wasn't dreamy.

I can't tell you how many times over the past few years that I have said to my husband - What kind of parent would let/want her child to be viewed as nothing but a sexy (trashy) stripper type (brittany, lindsey, christina,...) As a parent why can't they promote the talent and teach them to cover up everything else!!
BTW - Missy are you serious about the whole Paris is your daughters hero - and are you really okay with that??? That is probably just about the saddest thing i have ever read!!

45. HEY everyone be NICE to Missy! Again, a response to Missy Hiller's Posting. All of you people calling her a crazy person, a bad mother, etc,...I am from Michigan too. TRUST me, while I agree with the assertation that Paris is not a good role model, you "critics" of this woman need to understand things are different in Michigan, especially Missy's hometown,...its not NYC you all! Some, while dillusioned, tend to look to people like Ms. Hilton as a rold model for themselves and their children. Instead of bashing Missy, try to understand that her parenting choices really are none of your business! Comment on something important and worth weight, not to harass someone. I'm sure none of the "critics" recently won parent of the year.
