Behar to Gibson -- Get a Public Circumcision

NEW YORK (AP) -- Comedian Joy Behar is suggesting a painful way for Mel Gibson to show he's sorry.

Behar said on "The View" that Gibson "needs to be welcomed into the Jewish community by a public circumcision."

Behar also said that Gibson's apology won't change him. She adds, "People like him have it in them to just hate."

Earlier this week, Barbara Walters had said she'd never see another Gibson movie again, and says that his second apology hasn't changed her mind.

18. Aren't they all classless, tasteless, talentless bitches anyway? Who watches the View anymore? These old hags are just airing out their frustrations on live television and I cannot believe we give them this kind of publicity to be able to do so.

The View should be cancelled. The show is completely stupid and none of those women have an ounce of class or brains for that matter.

20. can we please move on with this? there are so many types of races that are racists. no, obviously it does not make it ''okay'' but my god, let's move on. he is just a dude who said some stupid things. there are other things going on in the world other than another drunk, sloppy celeberity blabbing on about people. go ask any other chp or police officer and i am sure there are much worse and more vile comments from ''ordinary'' people than what we are hearing from mr. gibson. move on and get a life.

22. Well...well...well! Joy Behar, needs to move on, or move out of showbusiness. She is and portrays the ole adage that...."No talented egomaniac wanna be entertainers, need to find other ways to pay the gas bill." How did she even get on the "View"? Her credentials are nothing but a tabula rasa. I am thinking of starting a TV show...my guest host/s will at least have a persona and a brain.

26. To think anyone really gives a damn about any opinions coming from these old hens is utter nonsense. 28. Again, shut-up Babs. Neither you or Joy is entertaining and I am certain Mel could give a hoot if you ever watch one of his movies again. I am now more determined to see his next movie and every one after that and after that. Oh and by the way, Babs Oscar shows are BORING! and predictable. 30. I bet if Mel Gibson was ever on the View the ladies were probably fighting back stage who was going to sit beside him and ask him their boring questions.
Now any talk show that is grasping for viewing points is going to say something negative about Mel, they read what is upsetting the majority and will agree with the majority just to get points. But this thing with Mel will pass. The day will come when they again will be fighting who sits by Mel. The public is very fickle.
Joy was very immature to make such a statement. Let's all be grown ups. The man made a mistake and has owned up to it. Let him be.
A Mel Gibson fan yesterday, today and tomorrow.
