Britney -- The New Whitney?

The video of Britney and K-Fed that just surfaced on YouTube is incredible and revealing. We don't know when it was shot, but let's give Brit the benefit of the doubt and say it was before her pregnancies.

What's so amazing about it is that just years before, no one was more focused on her career and single-minded than Miss Spears. She may not have been a city slicker, but she knew what she wanted and knew how to get it. If this video speaks any truth, it's that the brass ring isn't all it's cracked up to be. I wonder if Lindsay Lohan has looked at the video and if it had an impact on her? Maybe all of us end up reflecting about our lives at the kitchen table. It just seems like this one is so much more of a train wreck than most.

I've always rooted for Britney. What I love about her is that she is so unaffected by her stardom and wealth. As crazy as things got for her over the last year, I still thought she'd have a huge comeback. I still hope that, but now I am not so sure.

31. Britney and other "famous people" who act in this manner literally make me feel as if I'm going to vomit! If I had been so lucky in life to gain fame and fortune with such a small amount of talent as she possesses-I'd be d***** if I ever acted in the way she has! There are countless more things I would like to bash Britney about-but I feel I shouldn't waste my time or the lunch I just ate!

32. Brittney Spears is in la la land. She is at this point not focused at all. She is on something in this video but who knows what it is. She is acting just like she is straight up hicksville. No kidding she is crazy you have to amit.

33. Britney started out in a Baptist church.
Her mother signed her up for a life that took her straight away from Jesus.
It's a shame.
Now, she is confused and not at peace.
She needs to get back to her roots; like MANY celebrities out there...
It's just so sad that talent like that has gone so awry.(sp?)

34. WHY do many posters say this was filmed YEARS ago?! She has only been with Kevin a couple of years...there is no way this was filmed YEARS AGO! It has to be fairly recent. That being said, she should be embarrassed at the way she sounds on it, and Kevin should be ashamed of himself for even filming it.

36. She seems to be at the mercy of her husband's influence. If he had her best interest at heart he would get her the help she needs. She needs to open her eyes and realize that snakes can come in different colors. Come on Brits family and true friends get her to see the light not the fog of being stoned. We miss seeing the old Brit hurry back PLZ,,,,,,,,,

38. Are you kidding me, I always wondered how a person with that much business sense and everything she had going, would marry an idiot like she did. Now it makes sense to me. If this video is for real, she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Her husband noticed this and swooped in on her like an eagle. He is a true con artist and should be the poster boy for woman to watch out for. I'm in the entertainment business and I think he is total joke.

39. I think some who have made comments on Britney Spear’s video should get some sort of spell check and also a grammar check tool! Commenting on the stars ability to do anything or even acting goofy or normal when some could not even spell is just, so wrong! I mean come on now. Who are any of us to judge anyone unless we have been in his or her shoes? I think Britney and Kevin are doing the best they can with what they have. Back off of them for this video, they are only human. It is up to Britney and Kevin if they smoke or not, also that would be their own personal business. How would any one like to be looked at with a microscope for their actions they have in their lives? I sure would not like that at all!
Britney and Kevin you carry on, and do what you like, don’t worry about what others think. Just please get rid of the video cam though that thing can do more harm then good! If your smoking to relieve stress, the video getting out would cause more stress then the smoke could cure. Some would use the tape to hurt you and degrade you both! People can be so cruel and pathetic some times to make a buck. I would rather be poor and happy then stressed and rich, any day. Piece out! Road Dog

A; Yeeeap. You get trailer park trash that can afford to move into a triple-wide double decker trailer in Beverly Hills and is articulate as that rock she beats her dirty laundry on, AND, has no business in front of camera other than to sing. 42. I think Britney's biggest problem is the husband she chose. The guy is nothing but a user, and he's making her look stupid. The whole world can see that he is a loser, a lazy, good for nothing, baby maker. Now that he has Britney pregnant for a second time, isn't he supposed to leave her?
Britney needs to clean house and get back to work and feel better about herself. Marrying that turd was a mistake... keeping him much longer could ruin her!

44. Brtiney Spears and all of us seem to get sometimes a little out of hand and embarassed. One day hopefully she will look back at that and notice how odd she was acting. At time yes, we might get drunk or stoned, but hey, it happends right? Happends to the best of us. Even though she has made a couple mistakes in the past like having cocaine, but at least this was not premierd on Chaotic, which was a very "Interesting" show by the way...
