Star Jones has disappeared from "The View" – and so has the listing on the New York penthouse apartment that she's been trying to sell for over a year and half.

Now, it looks like the recently unemployed Jones isn't going anywhere for a while – the pad's been taken off the market, according to her broker.

The three-bedroom triplex apartment, according to the New York Post's Braden Keil, was displayed in all its glory on the website of New York real estate firm the Corcoran Group – the gold bathroom that Star used, her shoe menagerie, and Star's apparent affection for a zebra-print motif. But the listing has vanished from the site, and a spokesperson for Corcoran says that the apartment is "temporarily off the market" for unspecified reasons.

Keil points out that the firm had to take the listing down from once before, when an Internet gossip site posted it and it attracted 14,000 hits –- in one hour.

Ferrell Doesn't Like Wet Bed

Funnyman Will Ferrell is apparently not amused by a good super soaking. According to Page Six, the "Talladega Nights" star was hanging out at New York megaclub Bed with his family when a water skirmish – replete with water guns and ice buckets – broke out. One source says that the revelers were "running around like inebriated kids at recess." In any case, Ferrell eventually got a bit of a drenching from a couple of scantily clad women, and that was that – he and his bodyguards hightailed out of the club.

Courtney Vance Sued By Former Agent, Manager

Actor Courtney Vance is being sued by his former agent and manager for unpaid commissions related to his work on "Law and Order: Criminal Intent." In the lawsuit, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Endeavor agency and Dolores Robinson Entertainment claim that Vance terminated his contracts with them after he was supposedly dropped from the NBC show. However, he ended up returning to the show, and the plaintiffs claim that he fired them to deprive them of their commissions, each of which should have been more than $125,000. They're asking the court to pay them their 10% commission from Vance's earnings from "Law & Order" in 2005-6 and unspecified compensatory damages.

Macauley's Not Home Alone Anymore

Macauley Culkin's next career move? A role in a group-sex film called "Sex and Breakfast," according to a report on Imdb.com. The movie is about a couple with problems in bed who seek advice from a therapist. Group sex, apparently, ensues. The actor, who shot to fame for his role as a kid left behind by his family in "Home Alone", signed on for the film because he "loved the script." Wonder what his girlfriend, "That '70s Show" star Mila Kunis, thinks about that.

Leno and Smith To Sit in Balcony For Ebert

Jay Leno's got a new gig-movie critic. He'll be filling in for Roger Ebert while the famous film critic recovers from cancer surgery. "The Tonight Show" host's appearance with Ebert's co-host Richard Roeper will air tonight and tomorrow. Next weekend, Roeper will be joined by "Clerks II" director Kevin Smith. If Smith's recent antics are any indication (he publicly eviscerated film critic Joel Siegel after Siegel walked out of a "Clerks II" screening), it should make for an entertaining show.

Goodie Bag: OutKast Album Finalized, Taylor Hicks Gets Big Bucks for Memoir

After months of wrangling, hip-hop duo OutKast has finalized the tracks for their forthcoming album, the soundtrack to the musical film "Idlewild." The album, which hits stories August 22 (three days before the movie opens), features guest appearances by Lil' Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Sleepy Brown and Macy Gray. The first single is called "Mighty O" ... "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks is out to prove he's more than just a pretty voice: his memoir, "Heart Full of Soul," will be published by Crown in the spring of 2007. The book will chart Hicks' rise from a bar singer in Alabama to Idol champ. He reportedly pocketed a $750,000 advance for the book, which Rolling Stone contributor David Wild will be ghostwriting.

31. I liked it when Star was on the view. At the last I would tune in just to look at her hang dog face. It used to make my day. I would drive to work and just laugh. Now there is nothing funny there now. I will wait for Rosie

32. So glad Star Jones' 15 minutes are finally up! She profited from OJ"s trial, and she needs to get out of show biz. The last two years or so, when she got into her "ethnic" sing-songy rants, I turned the channel. Good riddance, and get somebody -- anybody, any color -- with some class. Kathy Griffin would be another great addition, but three comediennes, I suppose, wouldn't be done by the morning crew. KG is veerrry smart, though.

33. I, for one, do not give a rat's ass for Star Jones. Does that put me beyond the pale?

34. I cannot believe the ignorance of some posts I've just read. Inaccurate facts, racist remarks. It also will be interesting to see what several of you have to say after Rosie debuts on "The View".....Trust me, you will have to eat your words. The ratings are going to go through the roof on that show within a short amount of time. Barbara Walters and Bill Geddes (for the poster who thought Michael Gelman was the executive producer) knew exactly what they were doing when they invited Rosie to join the show.

35. inappropriate or purely promotional comments may be removed...TMZ, don't you pay attention to your own "rules"? gwen (poster #21) is CONSTANTLY plugging her website and wannabe tv show. and prefacing her annoying plugs with a short "statement" shouldn't be enough to legitimize her entries...and by the way, gwen...your website sucks.

36. Wow. So many strong opinions. I am delighted that Star Jones has left, but can't imagine Rosie and Joy on the same show . Joy is smart and sassy and never offensive. Need I say more. Star just got weirder and weirder as she got thinner and thinner. I found her more attractive with the extra weight. I will give Rosie a try but unless she does a complete personality makeover, it just wont work.

37. Glad Star is gone, but think Rosie a big mistake unless she changes a great deal. Joy is great and one comedian is enough.

38. gwen is not poster #21...sorry for the typo...i let my annoyance get the better of me...

39. McCauly needs a movie break, he is a talent waiting to shine. I think its a mistake to go for the bottom of the barrel for that break, it may not turn out to be the break he wants.
Mel Gibson is human, and is the last person I would have expected to allow himself to be such an easy target for a pile- on by a pack of rabid dogs, its time to let up. I am of the Jewish community, and public degradation of any human being turns my stomach.
Rosie, well... Rosie, what goes around always comes around. Her neck hasn't got quite that flexible, but soon she will be biting herself in her own behind.
I can't stand the View, no one practices common courtesy, they constantly cut each other off, their voices grate on my last nerve, I've seen chicken coups that are easier to listen to. That time they waste should be spent on more valuable services to our communities than a bunch of egos trying to get the last word.
Star made a smart move, she will recover. Again, enough is enough, lay off already!

40. rosie is smart, funny, opinionated . she and joy have been friends for years and i'm certain you will see that respect reflected in how they treat one another on air.barbara walters is no dummy. she hired rosie because rosie has a built in audience of people who love her. i foresee the View getting their best ratings ever.i'm also sure that rosie knows elizabeth is a very young girl whose opinions will change as she gets older.what we believe in our 20's seldom has anything to do with what we believe in our forties. i myself would like to see debra roberts round out the panel on the view.whoever comes in as the fourth panel member i'm sure will make the show better than it has been. the one thing i know for sure is the show is going to be very interesting with rosie at the helm. i look forward to sept. 5th.

41. Susan's writing may be because she is transposing letters, people. That doesn't necessarily mean she does not know how to spell. It could be a learning disability. get a life!!!

42. Star's 15 minutes of fame is almost up. She better keep that run-down rat trap of a NYC apartment so that she can have an easy commute to her upcoming Public Defender's job.

5.... 4.... 3..... 2....

Bye, Star, we wish we hadn't known you.

43. Well there were more stories than "The View" so I will not talk about that one since I am not watching it anymore.
Jay Leno should be interesting filling in for the movie critic.
Culkin I am surprised he is doing a movie. I had forgotten about him but love the "Home Alone" movies he did and a few others. This should be itneresting change.
Taylor Hicks...talk about someone who was a struggling musician..wow. I think the book with be interesting for people wondering about that profession and the sturggles. I have heard he is a genuine person and I am so glad he has his break as others do.
I was beginning to think with the media hound the runner up is that the other talented ones from the American Idol show would not be heard about. Alot is going on with most of the ten on tour now. It was a very good season and Taylor fans...he has only begun.

44. Star Jones is a desperate woman. She married that man and she knows he is gay. Most men who look like Al (Light skinned, nice hair) would not give her the time of day!!! They like people who look like them. I am a black female, and I know that to be true. Star, please leave Al and move on with your life. HIV will kill you.

45. joy and rosie are friends, as are rosie and barbara. rosie gave elizabeth a trip to paris, i believe, on her show after elizabeth's "survivor" stint. so much for your imaginations people.
