Kate Bosworth"Superman Returns" star Kate Bosworth proved that food is not her kryptonite and enjoyed a girls' night out on the town this weekend.

Bosworth dined at trendy Hollywood restaurant Magnolia on Saturday with four girlfriends -- including pop singer Jewel and their stylist Jessica Paster.

For appetizers, the not-so-big-boned beauty had cigarettes and bottled water, followed by a heaping bowl of bread. Bosworth finished off the course with a wedge of iceberg lettuce.

Jewel, who was quoted in Blender magazine saying "alcohol really does solve all your problems," steered clear of any complications and ordered herself a cocktail.

91. What I would like to see is the menu she has for a whole week. I have been trying to kick these last 10lbs and I just can't get there. I'd try it for a few weeks if I thought it would make a difference. I can't do the ciggarette thing though. Nasty breath.

93. What are all these women supposed to do? It's the thing to be young, skinny, have perfect hair, perfcect teeth, no addictions whether it be smoking or anorexia... Every advertisement reinforces the fact that women are supposed to be "perfect" and the ones in the spot light have to be in order to maintain their careers. Who'd like her if she was an average woman?

94. this, unfortunately, is hollywood.....feeling the pressure to "look good" is the way they make money. Do you really think the people paying her to do her job care that she's unhealthy????? NOT.... It is sad to me that the skinnier than stick women are the ones that young girls look at and think they should emulate. Not that my opinion makes a difference;;;; but sure helps me to blow off some steam......

95. since when are ciggs part of a meal?
I have to agree with "huh?" on this one; people anorexia do eat. but eating bread and a "wedge" of iceburg lettus isn't a meal... its bearly a snack if anything.
I cann't belive they made an article out of her dinning experance and said that she "proved that food is not her kryptonite". That would only apply if the girl ate a 12oz steak and potatoes (which clearly isn't the case)

97. She gets NO sympathy from me. People who starve themselves are just like the people who threaten to commit suicide every time things don't go their way. Attention. If she truly has a problem she should invest some of her MILLIONS into some intense therapy. If she's doing it for attention, then to hell with her. If she's doing it to stay thin, it will backfire. Soon as she goes back to a healthy diet she'll gain a ton of weight because her body doesn't know if it'll ever get to eat again.

98. This girl needs some serious help. She's wasting away like the guy in Stephen King's "Thinner." I don't know what's wrong with the girls in the entertainment industry that they can't have a backbone (no pun intended) and just say no to anorexia. She looks awful! The industry needs better female role models who are strong and will stand up for themselves. Stop letting the industry destroy you.

Personally, I feel Orlando can do much better than Kate. He can find someone much, much better than her. I think he's settling by being with. Not trying to be harsh, just my opinion.
