"Fresh Prince" Star Files for Divorce

Alfonso RibeiroAlfonso Ribeiro, best known for roles on hit shows "Silver Spoons" and "Fresh Prince of Bel Air," filed for divorce Wednesday from his wife of four years, Robin. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

The couple married in January 2002 and have one child together, Sienna, 3.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Ribeiro is seeking joint legal custody of the couple's daughter, with physical custody going to his wife. The documents also outline the couple's visitation plans; alternate weekends and Wednesday afternoons.

46. Imagine going through something like this in the public view. It would suck. For all the haters I feel sorry for you and how you get your kicks seek help. Thanks to all for any support in the past and future. No, I am not Alfonso or his spoke person, but I know him. 47. Alfonso, is actually working behind the scene. He directs a lot of made for tv movies --- often actors use the vehical that works, ( in his case acting) so that they can work the vehicle that they really want to drive (filmaking and directing). Look at Ron Howard, better known as Opie, or Richie Cunningham--- he acteed until he could direct----- and there are many others--- some of you all should take some time, and read the credits at the end of movies and television-- you would be amazed by the names------

Wow, you repliers are sad, your jealosy is so see through and I am beinning to think that, as mean as you all sound, your either so desperate to put someone down so you can feel better about yourselves, OR, you were paid to say heinous things by th ex wife. How about this, the man is an amazing person who simply had a peronal issue. Heaven knows none of you ever have, and if you HAVE, I wonder if someone speaking bad about you during this awful time (say, when someone you love died, or, Hrrrm when you lost your job, or, say, maybe when you lost your spouse, or while you were puting on the extra Sixty pounds your sitting there with!) if someone sat and rammed it down YOUR throat, how much you would have liked it. Leave him alone. You are a**holes!
