Is That an iPod In Your Pants...?

Levi's RedWire DLX iPod JeansWe've all seen iPod integrated hoodies, jackets and shoes. It begs the question--will the iClothing barrage ever end?

Not before Levi's unleashes its newest piece of clothing to be integrated with the iPod, the "RedWire DLX iPod Jeans". These garish jeans sport an extra pocket on the right hand side to stow away your iPod. The pocket houses a spiffy red ribbon that connects to your MP3 player, hence the name "Red Wire." But the weirdness doesn't stop there: A retractable head phone enclosure which, as far as we can tell should hang on a belt, emerges from the top of the pants.

The watch pocket also has the recognizable iPod controls in white, so you can fondle your waist while looking for your favorite Gnarls Barkley song.

It's hard to imagine anyone wearing these jeans (they will be out in the fall) without funny looks from bystanders, that is, until someone introduces the iPod tube top.

1. My brother had a sweat shirt designed to hold a portable CD player. It even had a place to run the earphones through, so that they would come out near the hood. It cost a bout twice as much as a regular hoodie. Until about a minute ago that sweatshirt was the stupidest piece of clothing I had ever seen.

3. The retractable headphone thingy and control window will be sure to make you the target of the playground this fall. To complete the ensemble I recommend accessorizing w/ a black eye or the bloody nose your likely to aquire within minutes of wearing these jeans. My only change to the jean would be that they have a clear plastic tear-away pocket for lunchmoney. That way you wouldnt have to be turned upside down by the ankeles to have your lunch money stolen.
