17. I think it's totally disgusting to say such thing about your own daughter. Any girl in her right mind would so crazy thinking of her father in that way.
As for Ivanka, yes, she is prettier then Paris Hilton, but I don't understand why people hate Paris all that much, I mean she must have done something right if she is so famouse, I mean how many porn stars are out there, how many scandal makers? But how many of them are household names? Not many.
Besides, it's hard to please you, people. While talking about Simpsons you say it's bullshit to do surgery and it's all fake, but here you have a girl who could've done 100 plastic surgeries. but she's done none and kept her tits and not so perfect nose natural.
Ok, she parties and stuff? But she does not steal or does anything like that, so what's all that hate about? Sometimes it feels like people are just jealous, because she is famouse and can do many things we can't. And I think she is 100 times better then Nicole Ricchie, because first of all Nicole only got famouse because of Paris, we'd rather not discuss Nicole' looks (she is not just plain, she is an ugly ducken) and how can you give a status of FASHION ICON to someone who actually has a stylist who chooses all the clothes for her.
I am not a fan of Paris' but I just don't see enough reasons for all that hate.

21. Ivanka could have ridden on her father's coat tails.....lived off his money instead of going out and becoming something. Paris Hilton's goal in life was to be famous like a movie star. She got it by hanging out at parties and nightclubs starting in her early teens on any given night of the week. Why didn't her parents have control over her....SHE WAS A TEENAGER!!!!!! Did Paris even graduate from hight school? She has obviously made some money for herself and I am sure Ivanka has too. But the difference between Ivanka Trump and Paris Hilton is that Ivanka can spell GED.

she is a smart business woman. u see her in magagine, going shopping, clubbing, and u think she is partying her life away. if that's what you interprete, then you are wrong!!!!
she got paid going to club. club owner paid her for showing up. the club owner knows those photogs out there will be taking her pic and put it in magazine....this is how the club got advertised.
she is a business woman. did you see her smoke? use coke???
she has to do all these shopping in order to keep her name in magazine.
we make our money by going to college, then post grad. she made her money in a way different than ours. and it is shaking money to her bank account. a lot more money than we ordinary people , even professional made.
she made money legally, there is nothing wrong with that.

i believe donald trump is using this paris hilton model for ivanka.
dont underestimate donald. he is a smart cookie. look at how he leverage his fame into all those online education, books, clothing, perfume etc

23. the following is strictly my opinion
donald trump---i never like donald. he is a big BS. the media portraits him well. so many people think well of him. i think people should do a google and do a search. many years ago, when he was dating marla maples, the media hated him.
someone dug out some info saying donald is not worth what he claimed. immediately that got the bank who loaned money to him worried. so , people do some digging.
the donald now---he is a lot richer, particularly with the apprentice. his financial is probably on a much solid footing.

his children--in my opinion, the children turn out well.
people should not hate paris hilton. true, she doesnt have an ivy degree like ivanka. but paris hilton does have a good business model and it works extremely well for her.
now i am wondering if ivanka is imitating paris hilton. that is, leverage her family name. time will tell. let's see after this magazine cover, if she will be endorsing clothing line, perfume etc

25. The hatred aimed at pitiful Paris is a mystery to me as well. She is certainly laughing all the way to the bank, evidently unaware that there really is more to life than money and overpriced stuff. However, had she been born into a middle class family, she'd be asking if you want fries with that.

It certainly is not fair to compare Paris, who like the very homely Nicole, was evidently raised by wolves, to Invanka whose mother and father take parenting very seriously. Ivanka is beautiful, elegant, poised, composed, intelligent and well educated, professional and really sexy. Ivanka is an outstanding role model who should enjoy some professional modeling again, and endorsements.

I suspect much of the appeal of Paris and Nicole is the fantasy life of having no boundaries, no responsibilities, a complete lack of any discipline, a life of total self-involvement and unlimited financial resources. It's the nature of kids to think that's the ideal life. I read that Lionel is hurt by comments on Nicole's weight. Funny that her unbelievably foul language, crass, vulgar and rude behavior are OK. She and Paris show their true colors when they trash talk other people. Donald has many flaws, but his parenting is certainly to be commended.

So let's be merciful and avoid comparing Paris to Ivanka because there is no comparison..

26. #19--Paris does smoke, and by any accounts is a heavy smoker. She isn't alone by any means. Jacqueline Onassis was a heavy smoker, the Bush's are smokers, including Barbara. Katie Couric, Connie Chung....many female celebs are smokers. Keep in mind smoking is said to be more addictive than heroin, and women are more suseptible to such an addiction. Unfortuantely, many of these women started smoking at an early age to keep their weight down and end up with a life long addiction. That's just sad!

27. Ivank Trump graduated cum-laude from Warton. That wasn't because of the money it was because of her brains. She's brilliant, well poised, beautiful, survivor of a very public divorce and has a personality. Way to go girl. She is a wonderful role model for young girls everywhere and I am proud of her. Doesn't matter that her dad is a total schmuck! Yuk!
