Reggae on the River Brings the Rasta

Baby ChamHumboldt County's annual "Reggae on the River" festival was bigger then ever this year, adding an additional 80 acres to the already large venue. The addition of two river bars for camping allows concert goers the chance to rest up after along day of skanking to the island sounds of Sean Paul, Bunny Wailer and Ziggy Marley (just to name a few).

The festival offers a children's area with crafts and a playground area and uses only biodegradable plastics and eco-friendly papers, making it one of the most family and earth friendly events of its kind.

Hot Reggae artist Sean Paul took time before his performance to answer a few questions for TMZ, touching on his upbringing, traveling to Africa and what influences him.

2. my 2year old daughters' fav song is " temperature" every day we have to play "OH OHH" as she calls it, 5x's till we get sick. Our 6yr old son is just as bad. he didn't want his hair cut, coz he wants to look like SEAN PAUL.I'm proud of him, however some of his songs are a waay too raunchy. BERES HAMMOND !!!!!! i play your music every day on my iTunes ! This guy is the best !!! i listen to my gosple, then to beres hammond, then some Jr. Gong, Bob Marley etc. But BERES gets the first choice in reggae. I met him over a decade & a half ago, & we danced, down in one of brooklyns' underground dance hall joints. MAN HAVE RYTHM !!! GOD's richest to you BERES, don't ever change your style.

4. Hey everyone . I was just passing through and noticed all the good things had said about sean paul . Well I work as a volunteer at reggae on the river with the entertainment . Sean paul was the biggest b**** I've ever had to deal with in reggae hystory . He did nothing but show his a** back stage and has no respect for any of his fans , if there any left after this performance . He told us he would not go on stage unless he got this ungodly amount of alcohol which was not in his contract . Still we sent someone out to go please his request at 1:30 am . Well , we came through and he ended up getting trashed back stage and came out after a half hour intro , and ended up beeing THE WORST PERFORMER I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE !!!!! From what I seen the dude has no talent at all and just a complete idiot . What a let down for fans who came all that way to see him . What a jerk !

Sean Paul is definetly my favourite Reggae Artist, and I like all of his Songs. The best is Temperature, but a like all of his Songs cause he got di dancefloor burning everytime again and again!

Surely beres Hammiond or Damian Marley or whoever are great, but compared to tha big Sean Paul they are like a likkle bloodstain to me, that is all

Hope you enjoied di Festival

6. I have been going to Reggae on the River for 7 years and feel strongly that Sean Pauls performance on Friday was the worst I have ever seen from any artist... ever! Where to begin, the terrible stage show, or the call that he is here to F**K 50 girls. Maybe it was his "crew" calling his name 50-100 times throughout the show. Yeah, we know who you are. Contrast his show against Saturdays headliners: Sly and Robbie with Don Carlos, followed by Sizzla. Even though Sean Paul and Sizzla are the same age, Sizzla makes him look like a greasy high school boy who can't grow a proper moustache. Sean Paul is the worst thing to happen to Reggae in a long time, and nobody will remember his name in 10 years.
