The etching comes from a photo taken for his 1981 hit album "Street Songs," which included "Give It to Me Baby" and "Super Freak." The album sold three million copies and propelled him to superstar status.
Under his portrait are lyrics to an unreleased song:

This is not fake. I just was there yesterday w/a family member. People now have left ciggies and artificial flowers in pots w/syrofoam at the base of it. It's so awsome and eerie at the same time. He's back up in there deep!!
This mans music will live forever. Little kids know the music, and I mean little ones. He was one hell of a preformer.
