Take My Life, My Card . . . Puh-leeze!

That, apparently, is Britney's latest message to K-Fed. You see, the pop princess has, according to a report, given her aspiring rapper husband one gift that he won't leave home without -- a high-rolling Black American Express card -- just in case he wants to go buy his own airplane or something.

The American Express Centurion card, otherwise known as the Black AmEx, is friend and status symbol to potentates (and, now, aspiring rappers) worldwide, and, according to In Touch Weekly (via MSNBC), the Britster is bestowing the precious plastic on her husband because she wants to prove "how much she trusts him."

Meanwhile, the mag also reports that Britney is going to renew her vows with K-Fed after the birth of their second child in the fall. Apparently, she didn't want an elaborate ceremony the first time around when she and Kev tied the knot in September 2004, but they're ready to do it all over again. "She wants to show the world that she is happily married," an "insider" tells the magazine. Spears' rep says nothing is planned, however.

Lindsay Gets Boot From Chateau?

Could Lindsay Lohan's hard-charging ways be too much even for the Chateau Marmont? The legendary LA hotel – and enclave to the stars – might be giving La Lohan the eighty-six because her partying has become too "disruptive."

According to Page Six, the freckled phenom's behavior at the Chateau, where Hollywood royalty has indulged themselves for years in well-shielded privacy, has prompted management to consider a ban. "They are trying to kick her out. It is very disruptive with all of her friends coming in and out and her late nights," says one source. A rep for the hotel says the rumor isn't true.

And just as Lohan deals with the fallout from producer James G. Robinson's very public scolding, a crew member from the 2005 masterpiece "Herbie: Fully Loaded" has posted a letter on worldofwonder.net blasting Lindsay's work habits. The anonymous posting makes various charges not dissimilar to Robinson's, including the fact that Lohan "played the exhaustion card a couple of times."

But Lohan's rep slammed the faceless accuser, saying, "Stop hiding behind blind anonymity!" (Is there any other kind?)

HOV Takes on H20: Jay-Z Wants Better Water

He may be more a champagne man generally – Cristal or not – but Jay-Z's latest obsession appears to be something that doesn't just flow freely everywhere-water.

The mogul-artist announced yesterday at the UN that he's traveling to Africa for the first time ever to document the world water crisis for an MTV documentary called "Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life," which will air November 24, say Rush & Molloy. Jay will be meeting children who, according to estimates, are amongst the more than 1 billion people around the world who don't have clean and safe drinking water.

"Every 15 seconds a child dies from not having access to clean water," the rapper told the press at the UN. "I want people to know that while they're having their Poland Spring at Cipriani." (Who knew they served Poland Spring at Cipriani?)

Christie's Mom Says Daughter Ain't Taking Hubby Back

Christie Brinkley's mother Marjorie Brinkley doesn't think there's going to be any kind of reconciliation between her daughter and her philandering husband Peter Cook.

In an interview with Star magazine (via the New York Daily News), Mrs. Brinkley says, "She is not wavering . . . or taking him back. She is not planning that." What's more, says Marjorie, the ex-supermodel has already been asked out by a few guys but isn't quite ready to start dating just yet. Brinkley's spokesman, the tireless Elliot Mintz, says, "I cannot confirm or deny that report."

The Daily News says that Brinkley hasn't been seen outside her Hamptons compound since Monday, when photogs caught her in a state of some distress.

Goodie Bag: McConaughey Pans for "Fool's Gold," Diddy Hires A Manager, CBGB Reborn, and Director Named for "Halo" Flick

Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson will team up once again for the adventure comedy "Fool's Gold" for Warner Bros. In the film, says the Hollywood Reporter, a husband and wife who have been searching for a lost treasure for years and almost split up as a result get back together after they find a clue to the treasure's whereabouts. . . P. Diddy parted ways with Benny Medina five years ago and has finally gotten around to hiring Jeff Kwatinetz at The Firm as his new manager, says Page Six. . . CBGB, the legendary New York rock club, is heading for Las Vegas after it closes its doors for good on the Bowery on September 30. . . Variety reports that 26-year-old first-time feature director Neill Blomkamp will be taking the helm of the movie version of the videogame blockbuster "Halo."

46. So Black metal,

Exzactly which Hollywood PR agency do you work for ?

You dont sound like a 15 year old girl, and your text is so obviously spin.
Not buying your posts for a second.

47. Black Metal,

Im jumping in. Looks like fun. All you did was write a long winded post claiming that anyone who posts a bad thing about Britney is a hater. We have all seen these posts before - that somehow the people who knock her and kevin are jealous. Quite simply that is the oldest and lamest argument in the book.

Guess your right, I cant make fun of anyone anymore, because it means i must be jealous. Its like message board kryptonite. Drat. However will I combat this Black Metal, except with the fact that your wrong.

Nice try though. Re-framing the discussion is a good method when debating.

48. Someone just types in Linday Lohan Lyrics.

What is wrong with you ?

Posted at 12:39PM on Aug 10th 2006 by You need help

49. Alex R.

No you made no points other than to say "I'm not a hater".

Like I have said i think they are both not so bright/cool/can't stand their music. Still no reason to absolutely hate the idea of them being a couple. And the fact that they just may be in love for all the right reasons.

So since you came with no valid point other than "I'm not a hater". I have to conclude that you are in fact a hater. Call it a re-frame call it what you will but until I can find an actual reason to not approve of their marriage/finances/child raising skills or lack thereof ( in your opinions). I have to give em the benefit of the doubt.

Alex R.
Can you honestly tell me you WOULD NOT like to be in K-Feds shoes? Whether with Brit or some other sugarmama? You LOVE your day job, soo much that if Brit wanted you and asked you to quit your day gig, you wouldn't on principle cause you have too much testosterone?

Floyd? Is that you?

50. Those lyrics rhyme so well. Linday Lohan is a freaking genius. We need to share this brilliant mind. I suggest sending her to the moon.

Forever.

51. 52 it's tough when there are two inside and one of them knows the guy that can really fly and has the stars in his pocket.
...boy? oh there you are...

52. Black Metal,

Looks like it would be next to impossible to alter your view on the world. Im not here to make points that convince you to do that. I speak my mind and thats it.

And maybe its nice that your naieve. The world needs people like you in order to operate efficiently. You are what I would call a "sucker" but you would call an "optimist". Whatever blows your hair back.

Would I like to be in K-Feds shoes ? Not for a second.
-Your question is posed with the assumption that everyone must think like you and hold the same values as you.

-I dont think people hate them being a couple

53. Weird,

the text cut off. Anyway. BlackMetal person thing. People dont object to them "being" a couple. People object to their behavior. Celebrities behaving badly, thats what were bashing. There now you know.

And about your everyone wants a sugar mama comment.

That shows a lack of self respect. Dont you have any.

If you would rather be taken care of then you have no self respect. Dont buy everything your told on the TV. Like that it would be so cool to have someone give you a credit card. No thats not cool. It shows no character.

54. Hey BlackMetal
As normal, sensible minded adults, we are not haters, just know when someone is in denial, due to the advice of those that love her, that Britney is making very
STUPID DECISIONS in regards to her choice's to keep her husband. He was in arrears with the other mother of her children when he began his britfreakshow. I suppose a professional on his own feet would have been a wiser choice....like, like....Colin Farrell....lol...just kidding. I believe there must be some sort of limit on that card, or perhaps her financial "advisors" have thrown up their arms and sitting back to watch the quick sand show. It's just such a shame little ones are going to be stuck in that gooey web those two have spun....
We are not jealous Black Metal, these goofs are dropping their baby, with the baby in one arm and a drink in the other...one example....why is he not in a safty baby carrier instead of carrying the poor victim in their arms again and again. As parents we learn lessons from errors...shaking our heads again, yes, jealous, no way!

55. Poor britney.. she is a former shell of what she once was. How many children will she pop out to realize she is just trailer trash with millions? Her husband left his girlfriend why she was pregnant for britney. Isn't that a clue enough?

57. THANK YOU Alex R.

That is what I was asking again , you may have missed the part where I said I am playing devils advocate. But that's cool at least you answered something besides I'm not a hater...

Do I believe for one second you wouldn't like the financial freedom to follow whatever your dreams were, waaay back when. No I don't believe you. it shows no lack of self respect, it shows common sense. Brits net worth in 04 was estimated by Forbes to be 125 million. K-fed will never ever have that earning power no matter what he does..why waste time trying? When instead he now has the means to follow his music dream..I emphasize dream. Will K-fed work..I have no doubt once his rap thingy fizzles he will find somehting else to do. Maybe run Brits record label? But never go back to the car wash just to show he has a backbone that reasoning is just silly.

I absolutely LOVE my career, I have been doing what I do 15 years since my first summer internship. I make a wonderful living and have a beautiful wife and family. If my wife was worth 125 Million would I still do what I do...most likely but I would do it purely for me. With no qualms about not being the "breadwinner" that thinking is so 1950's. If my own thing happened to bring in income in vast enough amounts to match her great if not also great.

Saying K-fed should work some "job" just to be a real man in someone elses eyes is purely a silly notion.

Btw - I am in reality actually probably one of the hugest cynics ever.

Keep telling yourself you wouldn't quit your day job if your S/O was worth 125 million and you may just believe it eventually.

58. Blackmetal.......

Lets meet here in five years and discuss if Kevin & Brit are truly in love. In five....if you are right, then I will forever post good thoughts of you for the rest of my life. If I'm right, you promise to never post again. Deal?

LOL.....they will not last...and in five years I will surly smear it in your face that it is NOT true love. It's called immaturity falls in lust and marries. For now, that is my opinion that I'm happily keeping and deserve to have because it's AMERICA. With Hollywood's statistics, I have pretty good odds.

Posted at 1:20PM on Aug 10th 2006 by Gigi

59. Who was it said we were just jealous of Brit? Well, I can tell you I'm not. I'd rather be making what I do, living the life I do, than be her with her money. Her life is a living masacre and her husband is a total LOSER.

60. Poweball dreams are fun. Now your just straying from the point. Dont share your personal story with me. I dont care and it doesnt matter.

In your above post - you wrote that it is "common sense" to enter into an empty marriage for the financial gain.

Are you sure that this is what you believe ?

Because I think that this is one of the many starting points for people to ridicule this train wreck marriage
