Take My Life, My Card . . . Puh-leeze!

That, apparently, is Britney's latest message to K-Fed. You see, the pop princess has, according to a report, given her aspiring rapper husband one gift that he won't leave home without -- a high-rolling Black American Express card -- just in case he wants to go buy his own airplane or something.

The American Express Centurion card, otherwise known as the Black AmEx, is friend and status symbol to potentates (and, now, aspiring rappers) worldwide, and, according to In Touch Weekly (via MSNBC), the Britster is bestowing the precious plastic on her husband because she wants to prove "how much she trusts him."

Meanwhile, the mag also reports that Britney is going to renew her vows with K-Fed after the birth of their second child in the fall. Apparently, she didn't want an elaborate ceremony the first time around when she and Kev tied the knot in September 2004, but they're ready to do it all over again. "She wants to show the world that she is happily married," an "insider" tells the magazine. Spears' rep says nothing is planned, however.

Lindsay Gets Boot From Chateau?

Could Lindsay Lohan's hard-charging ways be too much even for the Chateau Marmont? The legendary LA hotel – and enclave to the stars – might be giving La Lohan the eighty-six because her partying has become too "disruptive."

According to Page Six, the freckled phenom's behavior at the Chateau, where Hollywood royalty has indulged themselves for years in well-shielded privacy, has prompted management to consider a ban. "They are trying to kick her out. It is very disruptive with all of her friends coming in and out and her late nights," says one source. A rep for the hotel says the rumor isn't true.

And just as Lohan deals with the fallout from producer James G. Robinson's very public scolding, a crew member from the 2005 masterpiece "Herbie: Fully Loaded" has posted a letter on worldofwonder.net blasting Lindsay's work habits. The anonymous posting makes various charges not dissimilar to Robinson's, including the fact that Lohan "played the exhaustion card a couple of times."

But Lohan's rep slammed the faceless accuser, saying, "Stop hiding behind blind anonymity!" (Is there any other kind?)

HOV Takes on H20: Jay-Z Wants Better Water

He may be more a champagne man generally – Cristal or not – but Jay-Z's latest obsession appears to be something that doesn't just flow freely everywhere-water.

The mogul-artist announced yesterday at the UN that he's traveling to Africa for the first time ever to document the world water crisis for an MTV documentary called "Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life," which will air November 24, say Rush & Molloy. Jay will be meeting children who, according to estimates, are amongst the more than 1 billion people around the world who don't have clean and safe drinking water.

"Every 15 seconds a child dies from not having access to clean water," the rapper told the press at the UN. "I want people to know that while they're having their Poland Spring at Cipriani." (Who knew they served Poland Spring at Cipriani?)

Christie's Mom Says Daughter Ain't Taking Hubby Back

Christie Brinkley's mother Marjorie Brinkley doesn't think there's going to be any kind of reconciliation between her daughter and her philandering husband Peter Cook.

In an interview with Star magazine (via the New York Daily News), Mrs. Brinkley says, "She is not wavering . . . or taking him back. She is not planning that." What's more, says Marjorie, the ex-supermodel has already been asked out by a few guys but isn't quite ready to start dating just yet. Brinkley's spokesman, the tireless Elliot Mintz, says, "I cannot confirm or deny that report."

The Daily News says that Brinkley hasn't been seen outside her Hamptons compound since Monday, when photogs caught her in a state of some distress.

Goodie Bag: McConaughey Pans for "Fool's Gold," Diddy Hires A Manager, CBGB Reborn, and Director Named for "Halo" Flick

Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson will team up once again for the adventure comedy "Fool's Gold" for Warner Bros. In the film, says the Hollywood Reporter, a husband and wife who have been searching for a lost treasure for years and almost split up as a result get back together after they find a clue to the treasure's whereabouts. . . P. Diddy parted ways with Benny Medina five years ago and has finally gotten around to hiring Jeff Kwatinetz at The Firm as his new manager, says Page Six. . . CBGB, the legendary New York rock club, is heading for Las Vegas after it closes its doors for good on the Bowery on September 30. . . Variety reports that 26-year-old first-time feature director Neill Blomkamp will be taking the helm of the movie version of the videogame blockbuster "Halo."

61. that man is a loser and a user he will dump her after she goes broke

62. Black Metal,

You also try to frame it that K-Fed had only two choices in life He could either work at a car wash or marry Britney.

So its a binary situation, either A or B.

And because of that he must choose her because life without the stuff he can buy would be unbearable. Its funny that you believe that this wealth will lead to satisfaction, yet still they will likely divorce shortly - just like all the others. So that track record of unsuccessful marriage seems to indicate that the money does not equal happiness in marriage.

Maybe you can expand your world view to include an option C

63. As a woman I do not see anything wrong with what Britany is doing with her husband. Simply because broke a** gold diggin woman do it to men all the time. But when a woman does it, nobody says anything about that. What about Donald Trump's wife? We here that she was some sort of model. But the truth is no one knew anything about her until she was marrying Trumps rich a**! Basically People should stop hatin on men for doing the same thing women have been doing forever! Also, Britany is a G.A.W. (Grown A** Woman). If she wants to give her husband (Aka) Babies Daddy a Black Card, Remember, She a G.A.W.

64. You all make extremely valid points, they are young dumb and full of c..

Agreed, but that is not saying too much so is 1/2 of America. Look at how people like J.Francis make millions off of that fact. And he is just one of a great many that make livings off of the fact that 1/2 of America is young dumb and full of c...

And saying they wont make it five years isn't saying much either since nearly half of ALL marriages end in divorce. Look at your family tree, no split ups I am sure right? That's the American way it's a shame and the kids are always the losers but it's a fact across the country not just here in Hollyweird.

A person could say no marriage in America will EVER end in death do us part, and they'd be nearly 50% right.

Remember we only see the bad parts of their parenting. And only hear the gossip stuff. We have no REAL insight into their lives/household/parenting..at least I do not. So I try not to judge them personally. Although all their music makes me throw up a little, and want to pierce my eardrums.

67. Alex,

He had an option c continue to dance, I'm sure he made a decent paycheck doing just that. Try to get his record made by himself sure..but what if, just what if they truly fell in love? We don’t really know the answer to that we can speculate all day but we don't REALLY know.

But you speak of the empty shell of a marriage as if you know something no one else does, well except possibly Brit and K-fed, maybe god.

We don’t know truly WHY they got married, hopefully for Love however fleeting that may be at this point in their lives. I have to assume that nowhere on your entire family tree is there any sort of split up. And Kudos to you and your family for being perfect, but the other 50% of America has flaws, some small some huge. I could say the same about any marriage with no real inside knowledge of their true inner reasoning.

I never said it was common sense for him to enter into the marriage for financial gain..don't twist my words. I said it is common sense that him leaving the house for 10-12 hours a day to make a dancers/DR's/lawyers/carwash guys "paycheck" makes no sense, just more time away from family. For not much gain other than his pride?

Again K-fed gets this all day every day but not the other 20jillion folks across the country that stay home and don't work cause they can. Or their wife/husband/boyfriend/mom/dad doesn't want them to, and has the financial means to make it reality.

68. Umm...can't relate BlackMetal! I'm happily married for 14, and there is only 1 divorce in my husband's and my family tree's...... even that family member said it was because he got married at 18 and they both were immature...divorced after 3 years. None of our circle of friends have gone through or experienced the affects of divorce, either. I must be a lucky one......hmm.....no, it's just not that rapid as you say it is. Maybe in your life....for that, "I'm sorry". Anyway, back to my point.....there are strong family tree's around. Sadly, hollywood would not be the place to find them. Too much money & immaturity in that culture.

69. Gigi,

To change gears away from BM and AR, another fun 5 year pool to wager on will be how fat Britney is in 5 years.

Admittedly cruel, definetly fun.

70. Aww...but whoever is on the fat side already have a headstart....that's just not fair. lol

72. Gigi, I don't make the numbers they are what they are, I think I heard recently nationwide divorce rate is down a bit but still hovering around 40%.

Alex, you mean made too much sense and hit the nail on the head.

Thanks for coming out folks, nothing more to see here.

Next topic, oops first it's lunchtime already. Thanks to all who helped the morning fly by. I come here purely to debate I will play Devils advocate cause it's fun =P. I may bash too on occasion , this site is fun.

74. The idiot ("Black Metal") has left the building. He earned that one.

Like the Shamrock to my Ortiz he kept coming back after I slapped him down.

Entered the room by saying I am playing devils advocate, and feeling that its a blank cheque to say any dumb thing but shouldnt be hammered. Wrong.

Believes that he that is without sin shouldnt cast stones and that without 100% certainty than no comment is allowed. Unfortunately this is a forum dedicated to celebrity gossip. BM should start his/her own forum that is based on those rules. It will be the least visited and dullest celebrity gossip forum in history.

BM changed his argument why we should not post "our" thoughts as many times as the Bush administration. I'm sure he is just taking a break now because he is dizzy.

Good luck starting that new exciting forum Black Metal. I'm just going to stay here posting whatever I feel like.

Please - Suck My Balls !
