Grammy winner and Bush loyalist (kidding) Kanye West is engaged, according to PEOPLE magazine.

Kanye reportedly proposed to his girlfriend, Alexis, while overseas for two weeks recently.

Kanye has become one of the most prominent figures in pop culture over the past couple of years, not only for his music, but his original sense of style. He also made headlines for his choice words for the President during last year's Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

16. Kanye is ugly as hell, uneducated, and a nasty black mf. He thinks bc he has money, it makes him speciall, but he is still dirty trash. 20. A very smart guy-one of the world's best hip hop artist, very smart. I dont have anythng negative to say ab out Kanya West. I just wonder if Alexis is the girl he talks about in his song from his debut album saying "She coundlt afford a car so she named her daughter Alexis" The hip hop community doesnt give an articulate tell the truth on your on terms artist very often.

29. First off its nobody's business what he think she is, he obviously loves her and want to marry her so just let it be. Kanye isnt one of my favorites but i listen and buy his records, and that aint got nothing to do with anyones race, he has good music, I like it, and all yah haters just mad, if it has that type of effect on you how about you put an album out and see how many people relate to it and buy it, dont knock his hustle....Kanye doing his thing.......And his comment he mad about the president, I have only one objection, its not just black people he dont care about its poor people.
