Actually Keanu was born in on September 2, 1964 in Lebanon. LOL.

To other posters: He has citizenships. The other two Canadian and British/England. It is allowed when you are an actor. Do some research.

And maybe perhaps he was going on vacation, with all the stuff happening who wouldn't want to leave.

63. Actually 1 citizenship - Canada. He's entitled to UK citizenship but only if he applies. A lot of countries allow it - I have dual citizenship with my birth country and my country of resident. And uh..you dont have to be an actor for it to be allowed.

65. OMG...You people must be soooo bored...to pick on Keanu for a traffic violation, not to mention his Nationality! Keanu is No Terrorist..Smarten up you people, to say such things and that you'll never watch one of his movies again because of this incident is completly outrageous..how childish of those that said that.
As we know at our Interractive Keanu Fan site group, we all know that Keanu is a not a saint but he is a very well mannered person and a Gentleman! Oh and by the way we have a lot of fun there. Thanks to all you Keanu fans out there for supporting him, he loves his fans and he loves his work, come and visit us.

Please disregard the negative comments from those that are not fans of yours....Anything that has to do w/you is definatly of intrest to me!! I am your biggest fan and would LOVE for you to come to Alabama for a wonderful Southern Home-cooked meal!! I have read all of the books, etc. that tell of your birth, nationality, family history, etc. All fans should do the same - it is very a interesting life that he has lived. I recently read that he was engaged..... I just wonder if that rumor is true. I hope not ~ We haven't met yet!! I will change his mind about this so-called engagement!! Ha.

68. Dear hm, (Hmmm...)

I DID NOT say that only "actors" could have more than one citizenship. That would be utterly ignorant, wouldn't it??? My commemts were in regards to and only in reference to "KEANU" and his plight. I also possess dual citizenship.

He has on many occasions while being intervied stated that he has such citizenships. The extra ones I have mentioned.

As a matter of fact if somean actor is chosen for a specific role and they accept, where ever the movie production set goes they also go. After years of visiting they are entitled to apply if they so choose. Thank you.
