62. Ive read alot of the comments people have said this is stupid. Most of it is but its entertainment Im sure that's the button clicked to see all this. The complaint I have who gives a chit what paris does. Im so sick of see all the dumb idiotic stuff she does. If my dog get loose I dont see it in the news. When My mentally retarded brother gets mad and bites me I dont see it on the news.. MY bad he's not a animal that some ignorant spoiled idiot owns. 69. well, I personally read about all this stuff because I like to keep up with the gossip of the stars...And it truly shows that they are no better than we are, they just have tons of money and enough of it to buy whatever wenever they want. Actually, I think they are missing out on the important things in life like, raising a family, having mother-daughter time and father/son time. My faily is very close knit, no we donot have alot of money, justy enough to survive with both parents working...but we have the best relationships with our kids and that makes me happy!!! We are invloved in their lives, just like we should be and all this stuff anout the starts life make me feel sorry for them. I guess reading about them makes me feel more and more lucky and fortunate every day.

73. I think it must be human nature to be curious about what the rich and famous are up to. If it wasn't, smart people wouldn't read it. Right? The post about celebrities being the same as other people is very true. I get traffic tickets too...just like Paris Hilton. Why not read about it? A little drama never hurts! We have lots of room in our brains to take in politics AND celebrity daily life. So, don't pretend like only idiots read about Brittany Spears and her deadbeat husband. And be honest with yourself...if you weren't reading the trash, you wouldn't be out building a house for the homeless...you'd be sitting on your a$$ watching T.V. with a Twinkie in your mouth.

In a world that each day is filled with bombings, innocent people getting killed and the worst of all our young men and women not coming home from Irag anytime soon, I think all the garbage that is posted and read by millions is a necessary part of our society. There are plenty of places to go and read about all the problems in the world and I am pretty sure that anyone with half a brain knows where too look. I don't think anyone reading about Paris Hilton getting a parking ticket really cares or it affects their life in any way, but it does make a good distraction from all the things that do affect us. When i log onto the Internet and read a story about a little girl and her Mom being blown up in Israel that bothers me and stays with me because it is a sin and i care about what is going on in our world, but when i can read by a story about some celebrity who i will never meet or that i could care less about its just another story that breaks up the day. this is just my opinion, but I think there is room for whatever your preference might be.
