Britney Spears was recently spotted shopping for baby number two at a Babies 'R' Us in Calabasas, Calif.

Sources tell TMZ that the pop princess dropped over $1500 on safety items, including two car seats, various household safety gear and a few articles of baby clothing. Britney shopped without bodyguards, but was at times escorted by a store manager. Workers inside the store say Britney was very friendly and sweet to everyone in the store.

Spears was also seen Saturday at a beauty supply store also in Calabasas with her sister Jamie Lynn and son Sean Preston. After the paparazzi helped the pop diva find her car, Spears addressed rumors she has been house hunting for a second mansion in the hills of Santa Barbara. The report follows sightings of Brit out with Sean Preston checking out huge Spanish-style estates.

19. i think it's soooooooo un believably cool that she shops at rgular stores like regular folks. good for her! enough already with kitson and all those boutiques. nice to see she's salt of the earth...although i must admit i was surpirsed to see her puching around SP in a graco rather than the trendy bugaboo. go brit.

30. Wish people would leave her alone. I find it refresing that she's down to earth, and that she takes her son everywhere with her. I am so sick of celebs going places and never seeing the child with the parents(do I really need to mention names). She's raising her child not some nanny (and doing a damn good job I might add). Her only mistake was being young, and having a child before any of her friends or family did. She's learning as she goes along (heaven help us if we were followed by cameras day in and day out, watching our every step, pointing out our "probems").
