Fall '06 Fashion Preview
Just because it's 80 degrees, sunny and humid doesn't mean it's too early to start thinking about your fabulous fall wardrobe. While summer is all about wearing as little as possible, you don't want September to roll around and find your outfit choices fading as fast as your tan. Here are some of this fall's must-have trends.
Skinny Jeans
The slim legged 80s trend that began this spring will continue to blow up this fall. The jeans should gather at the bottom - almost like they are 4" too long- otherwise they just look 70s tight. 
Will look great on: any member of the cult of Rachel Zoe i.e. Nicole, Lindsay, Mischa and all other Robertson wonder waifs. Paris too, if she ever covered up her legs!
Stockings
Long viewed as a symbol of granny-chic, the stocking makes a big comeback this fall. Think colored or black opaque. NEVER nude unless you want to look like an extra from "Golden Girls."
Will look great on: Kelly Osbourne, Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson and any reformed goth-girl gone glam.
Chunky sweaters
Big cable knits, baggy turtlenecks, fisherman's cardigans or any boxy sweater is literally the season's hottest item. They're great for layering or instead of a jacket and is best worn with slim jeans or leggings. They're perfect for recreating those completely unrealistic winter beach J.Crew scenes.
Will look great on: Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Love Hewitt or just about anyone else who wants to look fabulous when they roll out of bed.
Hand Bags
Bags will continue to be large Large LARGE - expect to see a lot of reptiles - even more than in "Snakes on a Plane." The bags are bold and big - nothing dainty, except at night. If Eva Longoria doesn't have one, she should at least be able to fit in one!
Will look great on: Jessica Simpson, Winona Ryder, Courtney Love or anyone else with something to hide.

Ugg Boots - perfect if you're looking to relive 2003
True Religion jeans - $350 is for airline tickets - not denim
Oversized sunglasses - Your Aunt Enid in Boca called, she wants her shades back... stat!
Puppy as an accessory - Please keep your dog- and this trend- on a tight leash! The last thing anyone wants to see over a Cobb salad is your little pomeranian.
