Mariah's Fans Fear For Her Fashion Faux Pas

Mariah Carey has been getting some major flack for her outfit choices on tour, even on her own website's message boards. Fans reacted to the tour buzz, as well as the not-so-flattering pictures that have been floating around with comments like:

"The picture promises a night of glamorous, high fashion, truly sexy haute couture, but the reality, at least when it comes to that black get-up, is a tacky, too small, trashy embarrassment of a number. I don't know how Mariah, or her staff, think that this stunning woman would look good in this itty bitty cheap frock, but they need to ditch it before the concert moves on."

Another fan states "Mariah failed to create a buzz about her live performance during her album because she wore tacky costumes and stood in one place and sang, and a lot of times had some off key moments, not bashing, but telling the truth...Her outfits are too revealing to appeal to a massive adult audience, and the fact that she just stands in one place and sings, and waves her hands is not entertaining enough for younger audiences."

These comments are from Mariah's free message boards, the paid members also lash out on the "Friends of Mariah" message boards. Although Mariah has slimmed down quite a bit for the tour, it looks like her fans think she might need to consider a new stylist.

I have never understood her need for attention to her overweight -built- like -a -linbacker body?? Those tube dresses are embarrassingly out of style and she looks like a fat hot dog in them. Not to mention the latest pictures from the tour. Mariah: WE DONT CARE TO SEE YOUR COOCHIE and YOUR BODY IS NOT ATTRACTIVE. GROW UP AND GET OVER YOURSELF.

I have always loved Mariah and am a big fan of hers. I think she has a great body, but she should show it off with some classy outfits. She always looks pretty but her clothes always kill it.

I used to love Mariah, but I'm sorry, this new fat and trashy look has got to go. I respect she's not a size 0, she has enough talent to not have to be. But that being said, stop pretending you're a skinny minnie 18 year old and quit dressing like a whore. No one wants to see that much of you. And I agree with what was said up top, she can sing but the whole standing-in-one-place-and-waving-your-hands thing is pretty lame. Learn some dance moves. Fire your current stylist and hire one with some taste. And remember that you're pushing 40, so stop living in a "Fantasy" and grow up.

I feel it trival and petty to come on any artist in the entertainment field, as
to how they dress. Costome is an image thing, and part of the flair of performing.
I am an advanced Acting Major, also train in voice, having a double range baritone singing range. I sing both opera, choral, and pop, and can even do rap. I have performed many times both singing and acting, and have even won awards, so I udnerstand the what performing is all about. Mariah has been one of the most inspirational performers to ever touch my life, and her music and voice has helped save my life. Those who critcize know nothing about what performing is all about. Mariah, we lambies love you with an "IRRESISTIBLE LOVE," and we hardcore are "FOREVER YOURS." And as for Mariah and us lambes, "WE BELONG TOGETHER."

I saw Mariah in concert and she was fan f***ing tastic! Who cares that she changes outfits? It gave her show some more added excitement. It was nice to her in different colors and different ensembles. It added ot the show and the songs.

Everyone is jealous of Mariah! Stop drinking the haterade.. or better yet keep drinking it so you CHOKE on it! If you don't like Mariah thats fine but you still should respect her. She is the number one selling female artist of all time and she didn't get there just by batting her eyelids. She has talent and she's come a long way and will continue to keep breaking recordfs. All you haters just keep on hating because it makes her much more famous.
There never has and never will be a female artist with more talent than Mariah. She writes ALL OF HER OWN SONGS... which not many people do. She gives bakc to the fans! She's a geniunely nice person and isn't a stuck up bitch some celebs out there.

And why are you saying shes fat?!? She's far from it!!! She's very toned and looks damn good. At least she isn't some anorexic bleached blond hair, cokehead slut like some other people in the biz.
