Heath and Michelle Heart the Paparazzi

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams (yep -- the one sporting the little girl bathing suit) are a perfect example of a Hollywood couple that doesn't shy away from showing the paparazzi how they really feel.

The two were on a Mexican vacation recently, and proudly presented a middle finger salute to the camera man who caught their eye.

But the heartfelt greeting didn't stop there, Heath took some time to write the photog a beautiful love note on a piece of paper saying, well, you can guess what it says.

Unfortunately this isn't the first bad encounter the Oscar nominated actor has had with the paparazzi. Back in June, Heath's father told Australia's Daily Telegraph that the paparazzi are to blame for the actor packing his bags, selling his house and moving to the US.

166. No comment on the way they chose to "salute" the photo hounds. But, may I say, as the mother of daughters... THANK YOU, FINALLY a public figure who has chosen to keep her personal assets covered up. I appauled her for not conforming to what people would expect to see a "star" wearing! YOU GO GIRL. 167. First of all, they didn't become movie stars to be hounded by the pap', to be bothered to no end, even when on vacation, by blood-suckers invading their privacy. It's no doubt that being a star opens you up to that treatment, but that doesn't make the paparazzi right in what they do and it doesn't mean that stars have no right to get angry. Also, what person here hasn't flipped someone off, probably recently and probably for something much more stupid than an invasion of privacy. If the paparazzi want to take pics and video, fine, but come on...show some discretion and perhaps some compassion for these people's privacy.

169. BRAVO! I agree that you know what you are getting into when you become a movie star but the paparazzi goes too far. They are not working in this photo. They are on VACATION. They know they are going to be filmed when they are on a movie set or at an event such as a premiere or awards show. But NO ONE no matter how famous should have to worry about people following them and filming them everytime they leave their house to go on vacation or go to the grocery store or something. But it is also the public's fault and not just the reporters. Americans buy and read and watch all of the stories concerning these people's private life.

170. Being stalked and spied on during a vacation should not be an expected part of an actor's life. We are all human beings, no matter what our career choice, and EVERYONE deserves the right to have their privacy respected. Just because some tabloid wants to make money at someone's expense does not make it the right thing to do.

171. Good for Heath and Michelle! The paparazzi are nothing but a bunch of lowlife slimeballs. Most of them have absolutely no morales and would do anything to get "that picture". People, whether they are famous or not have the right to have privacy without someone sticking a camera or audio recording device in their faces. Of course the paparazzi is nothing but a reflection of our sad society where many people love to read about the latest "gossip" published in trashy tabloid magazines. Those people have nothing going on in their own pathetic lives, instead they obsess about others.

172. Such great role models to their little girl. Wait a year and see where both their careers are. There are much more famous actors out there who don't care for the papparazzi and yet still don't act like common trash. I have never cared for either one and this makes me like them less.

173. There is a reason why Tom Hanks ,Robert Deniro , Al Pacino etc etc dont have problems with Paparazzi. Why? cause they dont act stupid . They let them do there job. Without Paparazzi and the media they would be staying at Motel 6 with a broken air conditioner and carpet that smells like wet dog.

174. i think they're absolutely right. yes, if you get into the entertainment industry you have to expect a lot of media exposure, but the way the paparazzi treats celebrities is sick. i mean, who cares what they do on vacation? give em a little privacy for 5 seconds of their lives. i'm usually a mellow person, but under those circumstances i probably would have done a hell of a lot more than give the cameraman the finger! i can understand why you're always hearing about celebrities beating those guys up. a lot of them seem very obnoxious and beyond rude. and i think that bathing suit is adorable! i'd wear it.

175. You would think with the money they have together that michelle could afford a decent looking swim suit, Heath should atleast buy her one if she isnt going to help herself, thats just wrong beig seen in public like that, shame on her. (My 2 yr old daughter has the same one in blue)

176. I hate this guy. I was a seat filler for vh1awards, he was dating the girl from The Ring at the time. She was trying to talk to the fans and he was grabbing her hand away so nasty. He was all stuck up. Doesn't surprise me he did this.

178. they're taking pictures of michelle topless.. i think he's right to do this.. he was just trying to protect her... saw the topless pic in other site, the paps had no right to snap the picture of a woman's breast like that, celebrity or not.

180. "It comes with the territory"? What kind of enabling trash is that? They're on vacation in Mexico, for chrissake! How much further "out of the limelight" can they get? The real question is, why do they have to put up with being hounded? Because too many miserable, envious nerds (some on this thread) can't get a life? Heath is a brilliant actor, possibly the best of his generation. A deeply humane and intelligent man, he handled the homophobic idiocies of the Brokeback hullabaloo with dignity. He doesn't deserve this. I join my finger with his and Michelle's!
