Paris Hilton, World Record Winner

Ms. Hilton has made it into the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records, but it may not be for a reason she'd particularly enjoy. While Britney Spears or Tom Cruise were probably somewhere close behind, Paris takes the crown for our favorite record ever -- Most Overrated Person.

A spokesperson for the book says it took its info from a number of magazine polls. Readers voted on their least favorite and most overrated celebrity and Hilton's name kept coming up on top.

Other celebrities to make it to Guinness this year include Madonna with the highest earnings for a female singer in 2004 and The Rock for being the highest paid actor in a debut role for "The Scorpion King."

18. Paris Hilton is great! I don't care what anyone else thinks. I enjoy watching her Simple Life videos over and over and over again. I heard her album on AOL. I ordered her new CD. She is a great singer and actress. She has lots of loyal fans. If people don't like her, I don't understand why they keep goint to TMZ to read about her. Don't they have anything better to do than to insult the beautiful, talented Paris Hilton?

25. Jealous people voting against her. It's all too obvious. Paris only made it because she's hated by many jealous people would love to be her.

Paris is probably more underrated considering all the hard work that this heiress has done so far. There are also reasons why this heiress gets is overrated person. Try to figured them out, first.

It's sad that 2007 Guinness Book found a record that is actually based on biases. Huh!
