77. Almost everyone is so quick to write off Shanna as "lazy" and a no good mother. Now I'm not a fan of Shanna because of her work as a Playboy model, I find that trashy and degrading and women should aspire to better things...but that's a whole other issue. Anyway, I watched The Barkers both seasons and from what I saw Shanna DID seem to spend a lot of time sleeping, as well as laying in bed during the day. Did it ever occur to anyone that this girl could have a sleep disorder? Or a health problem? If you notice she is not a very active girl, and by that I mean she seems to get tired somewhat easily. I myself have chronic fatigue syndrome as well as sleep apnea and spent my early years a lot like her, depressed out of my mind because I did not know why I was like this, and at times alienating people around me because they couldn't handle my "laziness". Maybe she has something that has gone undiagnosed...or maybe she knows exactly whats wrong but chosen to conceal her illness! And as for her not spending time with her kids, there were plenty of times that I remember her doing just that. I also remember her working, supervising photo shoots, going on auditions, and didn't she also write and star in some sort of pilot with her friends? She was also in a movie with Martin Lawrence and appeared in several sitcoms. Not bad for somebody deemed worthless. And excuse me, but why should we defend Travis just because he seemed like the perfect husband? True, he was very loving towards his KID on the show, as much as he accepted Oscar's daughter as his own, there was always that seperate special affection for his own kid. To whoever commented that she was NOT his responsibility because she is not his, that is so incredibly heartless. That little girl should not be shunned just because they don't share the same blood! Children deserve love no matter what. Not only that but he obviously smokes pot on a regular basis, and the fact that he couldn't go thru their meeting with their wedding planner without smoking out, showes that Shanna probably goes thru that kind of stuff alot where she has to step up and take control of the situation because he is too stoned out of his mind to understand what the hell is going on! So you see that's what marriage is about...each one has their faults, WE'RE HUMAN, but it's our love for one another that makes us not OVERLOOK those faults, but accept that they exist, perhaps help each other overcome them from time to time, although we will falter...But when one partner chooses make a mockery of the sacred vows to "Love, honor and so forth...in GOOD times and BAD...in SICKNESS and in HEALTH...till death do us part, the pain can be unbearable, especially when that person goes and spreads intimate details of your private life such as Travis apparently did. And one last note...since everyone's on the subject on laziness, how about that time when Travis was on the exercise bike and had to take a piss, except for some reason the bathroom seemed too far away to him so he peed in a water bottle he had next to him. He then proceeded to get on the bike again and rode for awhile, got thirsty, looks next to him and sees the SAME WATER BOTTLE he pissed in except he FORGETS it was piss! Can you say stoned?!?! He then takes a swig, realizes its his piss, then spits it out. But the absolute best part is that after he spits it out he get back on the bike and keep riding! That is not only incredibly lazy, but so sick, especially since he kisses Shanna right after without even brushing his teeth or at least rinsing out his mouth. Damn...

78. Shanna Moakler does not deserve to be a mom, I hope she loses all her kids, Travis and Oscer need to get together and get custody of their kids, and have the nanny raise them cause they will be better off and at least loved by a mother figure.

82. I've known Shanna most of her life...since she was 3 years old...trust me...she was always a spoiled child by her grandfather (God rest his soul) and of course by her folks. Her mom was practically the mother of Atiana...how do I know?....because I witnessed it first hand. The girl drove a Jaguar to high school and her school was only across the street from her house!!! How lazy can you get???? I feel sorry for the children...Shanna doesn't have a clue about taking care of children...not a very good role model for children....she's so washed up and when is the press going to stop referring to her as "the former Miss USA?" Enough already...her 30 second parts in not so big movies does not make her a "Star." She should get a real job and know what it feels like to earn a living like a normal person. P.S. Her Meet the Barker's MTV show was a shining example of how pathetic she is in real life. I'm not for smoking dope, but I can appreciate why Travis does after living with Shanna. Good luck Travis...hide your wallet.

83. what reality is she living in? anyone who watched their show knows what a lame mother she was. i could never understand how he was so cool to her. he came off the exact opposite of her, he seemed to have everything together. he was the responsible one who actually got things handled. great provider, good father. she brought absolutely nothing to the table, except pure laziness and annoyence. she must be good at one thing and one thing only, and mtv couldn't telivise it on the show. i always thoght she was a joke, so this outcome of their relationship comes as no surprise.

85. I didn't like the way Shanna treated her eldest daughter. It seemed like she favored her baby son over her daughter. It seemed like she would ignore her daughter at times. I have a mother like Shanna. My mom never did anything for me. Not even for birthdays. She was always tired, lazy and sleeping in bed. She resigned from her job and refused to work, when she was well qualified, because she never took care of her health and was getting herself sick. She always comes up with excuses and is probably the most selfish person I know. I have no respect for a woman like that. As a child, I was disconnected from my mother and never wanted to be held by her. I was always closer to my father. It wasn't until I got older, when my dad and I would get into a lot of fights, that I got closer to my mom. But now that I am an adult and have lived life, I don't think I can support my mom as much as before because she's still the same and I just don't think she's a good mother. I love her, but that's it. I hate my father sometimes, but he was more of a mother to me than my mom ever was. He was the one who protected and took care of me and went out of his way for his family. Not my mom. Although, I admit I do still hold a ton of resentment and pain and anger, it has not changed my perspectives on life. I have so much respect for women who take care of their kids on their own, without any help. The ones with no man in their life and no nannies. They're the best moms. The ones who do everything and don't need any help, although they probably wish it sometimes. But they're the strongest, kindest people. Same goes for the dads who do it all too, especially mine.

86. Tavis is a cool dude man. He was up that girls butt if U ever watched the show it would be easy to see that. 87. Ok, I watched the show several times and his wife was very lazy and did sleep in days at a time while the nanny was caring for the kids. So, I have to take Travis's side on this one. Travis seemed to pay way more attention to their kids then she did. She was lazy, ungrateful and a slob and he can do much better. If he did find condoms in bed room then yeah she's NASTY! I do feel sorry for the kids, but maybe there better off If mommy is doing strange dudes in the house while their watching cartoons.
