Justin Timberlake, unlike millions of other Americans, evidently doesn't think much of Taylor Hicks' soul-patrolling shtick.

"People think he looks so normal, and he's so sweet and he's so earnest, but he can't carry a tune in a bucket," says Timberlake. And JT adds that as much as his Southern-fried fan base love Taylor now, they could turn on him in a Tuscaloosa second under certain circumstances.

In the Vanity Fair supplement Fashion Rocks (via MSNBC), Timberlake, whose own album "Futuresex/Lovesounds" comes out Sept. 12, speculates on what would happen to all of Hicks' Southern fans if he were to reveal something controversial about his personality. "If [Hicks] has any skeletons whatsoever, if God forbid, he's gay, and if all these people in Mississippi who voted for him are like, "Oh my god, I voted for a queer!" It's just too much pressure." And he may not think much of Taylor, but he's got a conflicted view of the show that made him famous, "American Idol." Of the pop-culture phenomenon, JT says, "I despise it, yet I'm completely fascinated."

For the record, neither Hicks nor anyone else has ever even suggested that he might be gay, though it seems that Justin, who publicly supported his ex-bandmate Lance Bass' decision to come out, wouldn't think there was anything wrong with it.

Simon Loves Him Some Hoff

Speaking of "Idol," Simon Cowell thinks it's "incredible" that his newest show – "America's Got Talent," full of yodelers, magicians, and other species of talent freak – actually did well on NBC. "To be honest, we were not expecting it to do as well as it did," he tells the New York Post.

And it seems that Cowell really wants David Hasselhoff back as a judge, despite the fact that the Hoff has said that he was only going to do the gig for one season. "I like this panel, I think they're going to get more interesting," says Simon of Hasselhoff, Brandy, and Piers Morgan.

Simon admits that he's seen some acts on his own show that make him wish he were the one passing his own brand of caustic judgment. "It's been very tempting," says Cowell. "There have been times when I've watched the show and thought to myself, 'God I wish I was judging this.'"

The show ends tomorrow with the crowning of a $1 million winner.

Xtina Kicks Up A "F.U.S.S." About Storch

Christina Aguilera and Scott Storch -- producer of Paris Hilton's album and Team Firecrotch member -- are hissing at one another, just in time for the release of both blonde bombshells' records.

On her latest album, which just dropped yesterday, Xtina slams Storch on a song called "F.U.S.S." after he dropped out of producing "Back to Basics," supposedly because, among other reasons, she wouldn't send a private plane to get him.

But Storch, never one to disguise his feelings, tells In Touch magazine (via Ben Widdicombe), "I worked on half of her last CD and sold her millions of copies. Obviously, she cares more than I do that I didn't do this album. But I can't blame her, with an album full of fillers, oversinging and lame Vegas-like cabaret music."

On "F.U.S.S.", the letters of which we'll allow you to sort out on your own, the pop princess sings of Storch, "I thought I knew who you were, I see now you were a lesson to learn. . .This song is for you to remind you/that I moved on...looks I didn't need you."

Goodie Bag: Oprah To Guest on Rachael Ray's Show, Reichen Moves In With Lance, and Lindsay Brings Cookies to Set

Oprah Winfrey made a surprise visit to the set of Rachael Ray's new talk show, which is taping episodes now in advance of its Sept. 18 premiere, says People. The hour-long syndicated show, called "The Rachael Ray Show," won't normally have celebrity guests, but the Queen of All Talk Winfrey hung out for the taping, met the audience, and had some coffee on-air with Ray. Oprah's Harpo Productions is producing the show. . . Reichen Lehmkuhl, the boyfriend of recently-out Lance Bass, has moved into Bass' house after, according to Page Six, he lost his own house. The $642,400 abode is in "pre-foreclosure" according to defaultresearch.com, though Reichen's lawyer says it's in escrow, not foreclosure. . . Lindsay Lohan is apparently trying to make nice on the "Georgia Rule" set – she brought 500 cupcakes to work earlier this month, says Ben Widdicombe, which she passed out to co-workers.

241. I have to agree with JT. In my opinion Taylor Hicks is not only a terrible singer, he is about as spastic as a chicken without it's head. The deaf folks that voted for him sure don't know talent, and not only are they deaf but also blind

242. JT's voice is like nails down a chalkboard to me. He tries to hit those high notes and his voice cracks. He may be dating Cameron Diaz, but I still think he's gay too. Plus, he's white and trying to act black. I like black people, I just think it's sounds stupid when a white guy tries to speak and act like one.

246. Justin,

Why do you care if Taylor Hicks makes it big or not? How does his life
affect yours? The rude comments you made about Taylor come from a
very insecure person. I am shocked!

247. Hey Taylor......sue the jerk.
I have never listened to him....I don't like him.
Who is he to judge......he is a nobody.

Hey Justin.......can't take the heat get out of the pan.

248. Justin, you need to grow up. Taylor may not be drop dead gorgeous, but he has more talent than you have in your little finger. Sorry, but that's just a fact. Taylor has paid his dues and he doesn't have to try to sound soulful...it just comes naturally. He may dance like a spazz, but he didn't have to be in a robotic boy band or act like some pimp(ie; be something he's NOT) just to please mindless teenagers in order to sell records. He's just himself....and thats what will keep people coming back for more. I also find it interesting that he would think fans would've freaked out if Taylor would've have said he was gay....but yet it was ok for Lance Bass....can you say hypocrit???

249. Someone Posted this:
THE ONLY REASON I CAN THINK OF IS BECAUSE OF YOUR PAST RELATIONSHIP WITH THAT BURPING HICK OF BRITTANY AND THE PIZZA FACE CAMERON.

To Whom It May Concern:

Ok, let's not go here!!!!! Cameron had nothing to do with the rude comments
Justin made, he is his own person. Cameron is my favorite actress and I
think she is a lot smarter than Justin is. She is gorgeous and talented and
seems to be a very nice person too. Whoever made this comment about
Cameron is as insecure as Justin is, this is very sad.

250. Well, I told my friends Hicks couldn't sing while he was still in the program.
Only in the USA would someone with that much lack of skill win a SINGING contest......unbelievable.......now Justin is getting the bad rap for telling the truth.
Come ON>>>>>>>>

251. I`d bet Taylor Hicks can fart with more musical ability than JT will ever have in his intire body. He`s really has some nerve judging anyone elses singing ability.
And what was that crap about what would happen if Taylor announced he was Gay ? Is JT hoping to start rumors in the hope that Taylor will sell less albums
than him.
I never even gave JT a real thought other than the few times I`ve heard him I didn`t care for what I heard, but I figured someone must think he has talent so let them enjoy his limited talentd if they so desire. But this kind of crap shows that he must be a real weiner of a human to get down on someone he doesn`t even know.
Taylor Hicks will be selling albums when JT is long forgotten.

252. Taylor Hicks will probably not hit it big like Kelly Clarkson, but with the right marketing he'll do better fianacially and last longer as a enertainer. With his soulful sound - old school is back. His appeal reaches with Southern roots, to women who like older men, to parents and grandparents who have more disposable income than Timberlake's fans. His spazztic dancing won't hurt him, it didn't hurt the great Joe Cocker. People thought Elvis was spazztic in his early days. Of course Hicks is no Elvis Presley and there will never be another Elvis. Again with the right marketing he could fit into movies easily , after that Vegas to be the next Mr. Las Vegas(Wayne Newton's title). Retro fashions, muscle cars, old school music mixed with rap. Being a blue collar worker, husband of 25 years, with 4 grown kids & 5 grandkids. It's nice to listen and dance the bellyrub to music with lyrics you can understand as well shakin the booty to Southern Fried Rock. Rockers - remember where Rock came from the South, with it's Blues & Gospel roots. To all Taylor Hicks fans Love, Peace and Rock on !!!!!!

253. Babyray wrote: Taylor is a good kareoke singer and won because of the trend in america to take segrgated sides in everything. the south are experts at it. Slavery/bush/katrina/.
YOU are the one who is delusional. Or maybe you're just ignorant. FYI, Bush is originally from New Haven, Connecticut. Slavery existed throughout the original thirteen colonies and has been abolished in the US for over 100 years. It wasn't until after the annexation of Korea in 1910 that Japan abolished both slavery and caste system. Katrina---typhoons, tornadoes, tsunamis, blizzards, thunderstorms and even fair weather are all acts of nature! Blaming a region for such is just plain ignorant. Go back to school.

254. Give me a break. What do you expect from a guy who kisses and tells,Brittany Spears) rips the shirt off a woman at the superbowl, and is a general all around "bad boy"? He has no honor nor class. You would never see Taylor do any of this bad behaviour. Ever. Taylor is dignified, talented, and MATURE! Plus, I can listen to his music without cringing. He has a sound all his own, unique and pure, not contrived, like "everyone else's out there" and, while making it on American Idol, he was judged by America, going thru months of rigorous competition, as opposed to a boy band. While Justin has a certian appeal to a group of people, and I do not take that away from him, nor would I take away his given successes, he is not the end all-BE all in the music industry.
No one is.
But Taylor Hicks is here to stay. Taylor Hicks has his place. The SOUL PATROL has ARRIVED!
Justin Timberlake can just dang well deal with those facts.
Move over, Sexyback, GREY CHARLES HAS COME TO STAY!!!!!!
And there is more than enough room to accomodate the two of you.
SOUL PATROL!

255. While I do think what JT said was rude, it's an opinion, which I don't really agree with because I think Taylor can sing- I'm just unsure of how successful he can be. That being said, JT's been quite successful with his solo material, I'm looking forward to the new stuff!
