Rosie is no Ellen DeGeneres - the only thing they have in common is their sexual choices - it stops there! Ellen is an entertainer and when you watch her you do not think of her sexual preference, you just enjoy her show.
Rosie looks mean and acts the same. It will be interesting, however, to see how her and elisabeth match up - Elisabeth will probably be the next to go. Walters, I believe thinks she will be in the running for an Emmy, competing against Ellen with rosie. I think she is mistaken! People like Ellen, regardless of who she sleeps with!

500. Spud, you're an idiot. Hey... here's an idea: Let's give Rosie a CHANCE! She may be gay but she's clearly not stupid. If anyone took the time to actually read her poem (or whatever that is), she knows she can't act like the boss this time. I suspect she'll figure out it's way easier to show up, read cards and be spontaneous than it is to run the show.

503. I am sadden by the direction "The View" has headed in recent months. With Meredith and Star having departed and Rosie soon arriving, "The View" simply no longer appeals. While Star Jones (like most humans) was not perfect - she was entertaining in a more positive manner than the soon to be co-host Rosie O. I find Rosie to be a rather offensive person, with an infantile command of the english language and quite the vulgar mouth and manners. Joy Behar is a delight and entertaining, yet her appeal is not strong enough to counteract the distaste I feel for Rosie O'Donnell and the once (but no longer) magnificient Barbara Walters. What a shame that Ms. Walters ultimately felt it necessary to conduct herself in such a shabby manner in recent months. How the mighty do fall.

504. I for one thank its ashame that two people can't get alone. An causeing others to take sides. Starr was an is a fine person as for as I know. and Rosie is as well. so what if they had different appenions. Its that what the view all about.
at anyrate they need to get over it and get their feelings off their shoulders.
We can't let what other people say hurt us.there is more imporntant things to thank about, life is short and we should live our lives as if it was our last day.

510. As some who watched The View pretty regularly, I was pretty shocked when Rosie O was named as the new chick. She can't share a conversation with anyone! C'mon Barbara walers. What the f**k were you smoking the day you made that decision? I also agree with an earlier writer who said I'd take Star Jones ANYDAY over Rosie O'Donnell.

Also, that uptight Elisabeth is an idiot but now that Rosie's in town, she's gonna really look stupid....no credit to Rosie.........it's just that Rosie is MUCH bigger and expertly TALKS OVER PEOPLE.

HAVE FUN LADIES......I hope Joy Behar jumps ship with her diginity before the network pulls the plug.

Barbara Walters and her co-producers, because of their poor decisions have created the end of The View.
