77. Nope. First you get served (by the plaintiff's attorney) the papers/documents for the petition along with a court date. Let's see, from June (filed complaint) to July 25th (court date) he had time to take action and get the testing done. But he himself, neither a representative (lawyer) showed up. He would only be issued a warrant for failure to to pay child support. This case was ONLY about paternity...therefore he got an automatic sentence (or Default). Payment details were supposed to be worked out at a later date. Now, IF he fails to pay child support AFTER it's been settled in court....then they're gonna come after him. However, if he just missed it "because he had better things to do", he can still overturn the case by placing an order to vacate (to void or null) and still submit DNA results. It's sounding like she isn't being paid just yet though. Determination of legal and child support fees can vary in the system. Oh, and um....is it really neccessary with the ALL caps?! LOL!

78. Ok, according to you THE LAW you are right. But, the dude was served on July 14th the docs were filed on the 11th of July (FILED DOCS) not only that there was a hearing on the 25th. He had from the initial serve date 10days to file a motion. HE DIDNT so then they moved forward on the 25 by the courts. There was another court date set for the 9th and he MISSED that too.. WTF is up with that?? Was he in St Tropez the entire time? So get gets the default set aside so that HE WONT LOOK BAD but, in its entirety he IS LOOKING BAD. The child was born April 16th. He has seen this child according to his friends, they have hung out together. I know he knows its his child. So, why not move forward? I just think his priorities are not in order. He could have settled out of court prior to July and also it could have been a permanent and sealed deal. Hope he works it out for his child.

79. Okay Mike, I get cha on that note. But according to his "friends" who said he has been seen this girl and child (as some people say on here)...I beg to differ. I was told by someone who used to date Scott (and shall remain nameless) that he had already had a paternity test done (perhaps NOT the in-court-admissable test) before the suit was filed...so bascially if he had that done the test it means nothing without a court case. Now, knowing how close Scott and Paris are, he probably chose to hang with her and do business and come back to this case later (dumb move). Now, if he had 10 days from the initial serve date (July 14) how could there be a court date on the 9th of July (BEFORE he was legally served) if you claim the docs weren't filed until the 11th?! 10 days from the 14th is July 24th so it makes sense that the court date would be on July 25th. You do not have to attend court to file a motion/respond....that can be worked out between attorneys. I was also told that he had been denying this kid the entire time so I doubt he was even there for the birth (or after). Yes, Dae got on 99 Jamz to "announce the birth", it's just too bad I only heard her voice and not Scott's so it seemed like she was speaking for both despite the other being absent. He was in LA, then Miami (during court date), then St. Tropez, and is in NY right now from after the VMAs. It's been a little over a month since the default judgement was passed so I'm not sure how long it takes for child support payments to take place. And 'Hazel'....maternity leave and unemployment are 2 different things. If she receives a nice chunk of change from child support, I doubt she'll ever go back to work again lol! And the "2 cars" bit is really throwing me off...sell one and handle business instead of waiting/depending on a man...IMO. Anyway, something is not right your dates Mike...try again! You can't say it's the 9th of JUNE cos that was before the complaint was filed nor the 9th of August cos that's after the default judgement was passed. So what exactly was the July 9th court date about then? (if he even had that court date).

81. DA LAW: I think I wrote July. I meant the complaint was done in June. On the 11th and he was served on the 14th of June. Not only that, there was a Status Conference on the date we are speaking about. That is why it sounds off. LOL Oops sorry and all that is public. I know that he didnt need to attend court to respond to the motion but, dude didnt even have an attorney and even if he didnt he shoulda still called to make arrangements but, obviously he isnt taking anything serious..UNTIL... they end up making his financials public, THEN I am sure thats when he will feel the heat. Just think he could have handled things. Also, as long as the test is from a credable place than it can be used in the court!!!

I know there is a difference on unemployment and leave of absence. We all know she will be more than straight when the money rolls in and their son will definatly be all good too. But, she hired an attorney so there had to have been some money somewhere! I know they would go after him for the money she had to give up as a retainer since he has it more so than she. Even with her doing the novelas. I mean season is starting in a few months so that might be the reason why she is not currently working. The season for shows in Miami is October to April if I am not mistaken. She had the kid April. Who knows!

Yeah, I too saw him in NYC at the VMAs. I am sure he gettin heat from there, I heard they have been talking about his case on the radio. Id love to see how Wendy Williams handles him on this LOL I know she recently did an interview regarding Christina

83. Hey 'Hazel'. The actual complaint was signed and dated on June 14th if you check the pdf format again. There could have been a status conference on the 9th, but depending on individual state law, the plaintiff and/or defendant may or may not have to attend that conference. He probably didn't send a lawyer to the conference in his case, conferences like those can even be handled over the phone if they choose to do so. But anyway, it's hard to weasle around a default judgement, but he has 6 months from the date of judgement to contest and send DNA (there was bill recently passed in the state of Florida allowing men to do so). However, since he was aware that he had been served and still chose not to go to court, the situation gets muddy. Some men don't realize how serious the consequences can be when they dodge court cases like these and end up suffering for it later (whether it's his kid or not)....it's all too commen. Not sure what you mean about "making his financials public"...they kinda already are. Haven't heard anything more about it on the radio since the news first came out though. I know the DNA tests have to be from a credible source for the courts...I stated that in my previous post.

Anyway, good luck to the both of them. It ain't gonna be easy for both sides.

85. Hey Rusty.. Do the math...The chick aint a gold digger. She was his live in girlfriend waaaaay before all this popularity. Before Lil Kim and Paris Hilton. They were an item, a couple. She was NOT just some random chick he bangged on night. They were or are in love. Sometimes people have to make moves but it doesnt mean they still dont care for each other. Things like this ONLY make people tighter. One thing we do know is they are not going anywhere, She isnt and neither is He. They are an official family now. I just think he made a bad decision on his part but, he can come back from it. They are in each others life forever...
