Lance Bass' First Gay Date

Reichen comments on Lance: Click to watchNewly out and proud former *NSYNC singer Lance Bass revealed to Us Weekly that he recently enjoyed his first real date with his boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl. "He took me out to a really nice dinner the other night at the Hotel Bel-Air," said Bass.

On Saturday, Lance and Reichen enjoyed another date, albeit a less romantic one, at the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge in the Hamptons. And Reichen had nothing but nice things to say about Bass. Reichen gushed "I have the most beautiful boyfriend in the world."

Reichen, a former captain in the Air Force and winner of CBS' "Amazing Race," also has a new book coming out entitled "Here's What We'll Say," which deals with his experiences as a gay man in the U.S. military.

Now that the not-so-ambiguously-gay duo has gone public with their relationship, they can look forward to many more romantic nights on the town. And fret not because here at TMZ we will ask and we will tell!

33. WELL NOW WE KNOW WHERE LANCE GETS HIS NOTES, FROM HIS BUDDY PRODDING HIM, NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING GAY, BUT THERE IS SOMETHING WHEN IT HAS TO BE FORCED OUT, BECAUSE LANCE WAS TOO BIG A WOMAN TO ADMIT IT.

34. Earth to world: Reichen did not win "The Amazing Race"--Reichen AND Chip won it together, though you would never know that from most of his own comments and retarded media.

39. i am very happy for Lance and Reichen . I am glad they have found each other . Life can be hard , when u have everything else to do to survive , but manage to find a relationship , is beautiful . i wish them all the best . Especially now that their relationship is in the pulic eye , it might make it hard . but if they firmly trust and care for one another , that won't matter . But i am happy Lance was brave enough to be true to himself and others and let them know a part of who he is . anyways Here's to HAPPY COMMENTS . the negetive ones don't matter :)

40. I think it's really funny how men that want to be with men act more feminine, and women that want to be with women act more masculine. Something I've yet to figure out. Personally, who cares who's doing what and with whom? Why is this even news? I don't think either one of them are that hot. After they turn 40 and get some definition on those unexperienced, spoiled rotten, spoon fed baby faces - THEN you can say someone's good looking. THEY'RE KIDS!!

41. Catherine, JK, and anyone else who thinks being gay is "fine, as long as it's not in public or shoved in our faces:"

Since being attracted to another person is a normal thing for anyone, gay or straight, why should talking about it be "gross" or something that should be "in private?" Do you hide your emotions for your significant other when in public? Do you think that because he/she has different "equipment" than you that it is more acceptable for you to be public about your feelings? It's small-minded and hypocritical to believe this, can you not see that?

As a hetero woman, my innate feelings are that I find men attractive. That doesn't give me any more right to say in public, "Oh, HE has a cute butt" than a man would have to say the same thing if he felt that way. It's not gross; it's just human nature. We all have an innate, genetic disposition to look like a certain gender, feel like a certain gender, and to be attracted to a certain gender(s) as well.

Sometimes these are different and sometimes they are the same. Sometimes
our outward appearance doesn't even match our inner sense of self. It's just a natural occurence. We don't make fun of people who are born with other genetic differences from our own, so why should sexuality and gender be a source of ridicule or hate? I just don't understand the intolerant attitude and self-righteousness that is running rampant with heterosexuals these days. You guys are giving all of us heteros a bad name.

42. Yo Ronny,

Just because Catherine thinks man on man sex is disgusting that doesn't make her homophobic. She's just voicing her natural reaction. That's the problem with you queens, you think your behaivor is normal and will not stop until you've managed to convince others that it is. News flash. It's disgusting to Catherine (and to most others) and all your name calling won't change that.

43. Way to go Catherine. The only good homo is a d$%d homo. Does that make us homophobe? I hate rapists, murderers, does that make me a rapeaphobe? A murdererphobe?

44. All I can say about this is...it doesn't matter whether you're in a male-female relationship, male-male or female-female...the first blush of love is wonderful. You gush, gush, gush! Jump on couches, get tatoos, spill your guts, etc. etc. You want everyone to be happy, because you are SO happy - the world is so great!!!! So, I'll just wait a bit until the day to day realness starts to set in. Then these hollywood love stories get interesting.
