Pushing "Paris" in Japan

Paris Hilton: Click to watchAfter spending most of her weekend promoting her debut album Stateside, Ms. Hilton flew to Japan to start peddling the disc over there.

Hilton has been working overtime building up the album, even telling Blender magazine it's so good it makes her cry, and at a presser today she boasted that every song is worth listening to.

"It has that very unique Paris touch to it and being the producer of it, I just wanted to make sure that every song on the album I loved," says Paris. "Instead of with most albums they just use a lot of fillers, but with this album I wanted to make sure that every song was great."

While over-hyped, her album will probably fare well, considering that the first single "Stars are Blind" is already hovering near the top of the Billboard dance music chart.

136. The album, even if it does not fit your taste, will sell more copies than anyone will expect. Mrs. Hilton has marketing research on her side, and will succeed once again where others fail.

Keep the dream alive, and instead of bitching about how Paris makes money, go out and make your own.

137. I like the album. I don't like the rap tracks much at all but the pop numbers are A-OK by me. Classy.

...and you know, every time I read that someone is a "whore" or a whatever, I am *more* inclined to like them. Not less. The fact that Ms Hilton gets right up the noses of some of the illiterates on this site makes her all the classier, as far as I am concerned. Hope that makes you all the happier.

So she's gonna try and take over the two biggest music industries in the world, the U.S. and Japan? Smart. But I wonder how both countries are gonna think of her album. She seems to be a bit too in love with herself and her new album, because she's always boasting about both. It's like she has way too much confidence in herself. And I don't even think she has that much vocal ability. It's great that she loves her songs. But seriously, does she think EVERY OTHER artist uses fillers? Who does she think she is to diss other people like that? She definitely thinks too highly of herself. People make great songs on great albums all the time. She always says stuff like that to make her seem better than others. I hate it when she does that. I'm like, how arrogant can you be?

For "Stars Are Blind", obviously, it was overplayed because people, both fans and haters, wanna hear if she can sing. It's a catchy song. But duh, radio stations are PAID by the artist's record label to play those songs. She probably bought out a bunch of air time for her song, which is why it was up in the Billboards. There's plenty of talented artists with great songs out there, but no one knows about them because they just can't get into mainstream radio. Especially if you don't got the money for it.

139. Celebrity News #9, if you wanna buy it, go ahead. For those that don't, leave em alone. It's not wrong to have a negative opinion of others. It IS kinda messed up that people spend a lot of time and energy hating on her. If people don't like her, then to hell with it and skip over her articles.

Anyway, to say "Every song is good, unlike most albums you hear today. " I think that's bull. It's about people's tastes. The albums you hate could be the albums others love. If you like her whole album, then good for you. Have fun listening to it.

And for someone who responded to reading that she's a producer on the album, yeah I think that's ridiculous. She's never had classical training, took class, or had any past experience with producing music. And she's gonna call herself a producer? She just wants to put something else on her resume. She wants to do it all. She'll turn into J. Lo. Doing millions of things, but never being extremely talented at one. Sad.

141. I can't believe that so many people would waste useless energy of hate towards Paris! Ever hear the phrase " Live and let Live" I think you all need to get a life and leave Paris's alone. Everyones human and we have so much more in our world that needs to be addressed than to be putting down someone who has been nothing but nice to her fans! If you don't like something think about this... " Do unto others as you would have done to yourself" Let's get real your only jealous of what she has and you don't. GET A LIFE!!!

142. omg #141 whatever would we all do without someone so righteous and pure to put us in our places. She's is a self absorbed & ungrateful bitch who wouldnt be hated on so much if she did anything truely worthwhile with her time and money.
