16. We may not all agree with other peoples ideas about politics...be it actors or just us plain folk, but he had the right to voice his opinion....said it and was done with it. Not like some who are always using the Hollywood podium to bash politics. I am still waiting for Alec Baldwin to leave!!!

23. Depp is nothing but a class act. That's all there is too it. He has acted in all his films brilliantly and the fact that he pays attention to his fans shows this "class" time and time again. He makes himself assessible to the public which makes him real. My children love him and isn't that one hell of a compliment to an actor. Think about it.

24. Johnny Depp *is* the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Orlando Bloom is window dressing, a rather shabby one at that. The movie has some other wonderful talent, Stellan Skarsgård, Geoffrey Rush, Kiera Knightley, Jack Davenport, Bill Nighy and Jonathon Price to name a few.

Johnny Depp is a class act and if Orlando Bloom is smart (which is questionable) he would follow Johnny's example.

And yes, Mr. Depp is such a beautiful soul. As far as politics - he's a right to believe what he does. That's what makes all of us Americans. Unlike from others, I've never heard this man say a single hateful thing towards anyone - he's a shining example to both sides of the fence. You can speak your opinion without spewing venom and still not hold anything against those who have opposing views.

29. Johnny never said he hated America..that was the tabloid press. He didn't agree with the war, and was upset about all the loss of lives. He was upset at the politicians, not with America. People shouldn't get all their news from tab headlines. He lives part of the year in France, not because of politics, because his partner is from France. The hand double thing is ridiculous. The casting people needed hand doubles for all the actors, for close up scenes. They described what they needed. Johnny's hands are beautiful...long-fingered and artistic...that's the way they were described, so the hand double would look ok.
