Everyone's Favorite Pirate is Back!

Captain Jack Sparrow, a.k.a. Johnny Depp, disembarked from his modern day Black Pearl Wednesday in Palos Verdes, Calif.

Depp was back in costume - wig, eyeliner, dreadlocks and puffy shirt- to continue filming parts of "Pirates of the Caribbean 3." The Oscar-nominated actor boarded a small transfer boat and made his way to the real (at least real onscreen) Black Pearl, currently anchored off the coast.

But not all of the movie is being filmed in the water, they have also recreated the famous ship on a Disney sound stage just beyond the Hollywood Hills in Burbank.

You're just going to have to be patient, however, to get your Sparrow fix. The third installment doesn't hit theaters till May of 2007.

31. Johnny Depp just keeps getting better and better with age...On a diff note I'd like to comment to the joker on comment #3. I'm sure you're the same joker that posted on another topic on Depp on this site regarding his Anti American comments and again you mentioned his hands.. Same person I assume diff name. Just a tip pal. Before you bash him maybe you should get your FACTS straight. As usual the media gets off misquoting celebs. Johnny Depp was in fact misquoted and he immediately set the record straight after that media fiasco. As for Mr. Depp's so called SMALL HANDS .. I can only assume your comments r such to make up for your small appendage.

33. johhny depp doesn't have to be silent, he can believe anything he wants. he's a refreshingly modest man concidering what a star he is. i've never met him, but he's probably as nice as he seems to be. we need more people like him in show business.

44. I've just started checking in on TMZ and while I really enjoy all the celebrity news, the real eye opener has been the comments. I didn't know there was so much meanness and animosity circling celebrity. It makes me glad I'm not one.

As for Johnny Depp? I appreciate his work on screen, appreciate what a handsome man he is, and admire the effort he puts into maintaining as normal a family life as he can.

So for the rest of you people out there who love Johnny Dep, I say good for you this guy is a real role model, and everything I said has been completely and utterly false.
