35. So I'm curious, if there wasn't Britney bashing going on who would we be gossipping about? The Suri thing seems to have blown over and no one cares anymore about Shiloh because even tho they have crazy parents the kids will be well taken care of...I'm worried about those poor kids...little Sean Preston adn the one on the way....can you imagine what kind of damage can be done to the phsychy of a baby raised by Brintey and what's his name? Those kids needs our prayers!!

37. Alright #23, yes you Mr. "Mack". I've weathered enough star bashing skimming through these posts as it is, when like somebody has said already...stars are people too. They unfortunately get press coverage over everything they do. Good or bad. We, on the other hand can do our worse, and unless it runs afoul of the law, nobody outside our circle of influence will ever know. However, I must take issue over your assertion of Louisiana as a sespool. You might have been from there, but I sure bet you don't know diddly squat about that states unique history. Physical and spiritual. (Well, you probably know the bad side..voodoo or hoodoo, but not the more inportant positive side) In short, Louisiana was light years ahead of these United States, especially after the Civil War, when the Creoles (remember them?) tried to get a backwards thinking prejudiced United States (both North and South) to see life from their prospective. That ALL races were equal, and full intergration should be implimented then. Louisiana had the first black elected officials over all the states after the Civil War (North and South), and made more progress on the state level to end discrimination after the war.

However, thanks to a racist Democrat/Dixiecrat party, and a stick-your-finger-in -the-air-and-see-where-the-wind-is-blowing Republican Party, looking for a way out of the race issue before offending racist Northerners too with Reconstruction, the Creoles were crushed. Politically, by the Union and the ex-Confederates. Spiritually by church ministers from Northern states as well as the South, and even eventually the Catholic Church. Economically by American businesses who only wanted to do one thing. Take away all the business for themselves to make a killing so that they could then leave the state and go back North to retire early and rich. The Creoles decried America's problems of race, greed, and irrational consumerism. Not to mention our selfish, singleminded desire to force them away from their culture instead of letting them be American with their own distinctiveness. Oh, and while I'm on the subject, hope you also can appreciate the fact that Louisiana is the birth mother of New Orleans Jazz and the Blues. Two music styles that eventually gave rise to EVERY TYPE OF MUSIC THAT IS PLAYED IN THE U.S. TODAY except classical. You got it. Country and Western, R&B, Pop, Rock n' Roll (in it's various versions), Bluegrass, every version of Jazz including (Dixieland, Big Band, Freestyle, and eventually all of the international versions such as Latin Jazz), and Gospel all trace their roots back to that state. Creole and Cajun cooking are some of the most unique and flavorful foods in the world.

For all of this, what does Louisiana get in return? What you just gave her. Disrespect. She's dogged......and over things that were not her fault. America reduced that state to where she is today. Politics (Which the Creoles hated with a passion) Corruption (thank you Democrats) Racism (Ditto, with the aid and abetting of spineless Republicans) and so on. But don't worry, God hasn't forgotten the Bayou State. He knows all of this, and He will make sure Louisiana gets the last say in the matter. Louisiana was a prophet for a backwards America...ahead of her time, and she was "stoned" for it. Now, thanks to Hurricane Katrina, Louisiana is prophesizing to America again, but only people who are in tune with the times we are in will see it. Judgement day for America is coming...and it won't be pretty.

How we all looked on in horror as we saw New Orleans dying, degenerating into governmental collapse on the federal, state, and local levels. How people were left homeless, helpless, and alone with no one to help them. The looting and the gangs roaming and shooting through the streets. People stealing money to try to buy what they wanted, but nobody would even take the money. As one insightful woman said to a looter "What can I do with that? (The wad of money) I need formula for my baby. Clothes for my children and food!" It was in the paper. Money was worthless in those floodwaters. You had to barter (like in the olden days) actual things like some t-shirts for diapers, or maybe medical supplies for some non perishable food and bottled water.

America, the superpower of the world...was soooo helpless, we actually had the Mexican Army being escorted back into Texas (yes, the Texas WE stole from them the last time they were on our soil back during the Alamo) to bring supplies into Louisiana. Various other countries all over the globe sent supplies to us too.
We've NEVER had to rely on the world to help us in a crisis. That all changed with Katrina.

Well, guess what? The whole country felt Louisiana's pain. Gas prices up as high as $5 a gallon or more. Hundreds of thousands of people scattered all across the country without a home, looking for someone to give them a place to rest. So as it was in that state, so shall it be one day all across the U.S. Our government is now $9 trillion in debt, and spending billions more it doesn't have. Borrowing from countries that hate us like China. We've shipped all of our middle class manufacturing and textile jobs overseas, while relying on a Fed-induced housing boom to give people the cash to spend that they can't earn on their own. Everyone is borrowing their way to hell, and the corporations are loving it on Wall Street...for now. Politicians too. Both parties. Nobody is going to tell you that one reason gas is so high is the dollar is collapsing in value. All because of our indebtedness to the world, and many countries are looking to dump their dollars...making the situation worse. Oh, do a search on the internet about the dollar crisis. The government deception into our real financial condition. You'll find enough people talking about it...just don't expect the government to do anything about it. One day, the crash will come....dragging the world economy with it. When that day comes, remember what you said about Louisiana.....

Because all of the U.S will be like New Orleans was that horrible week from hell that was a little more than a year ago. Just without the water.

I pray people will wake up and see the train wreck that awaits us all, and turn to Christ before it's too late. Revelations is much closer than you think, and our blind political/economic policies are going to pave the way. Everything that the Creoles warned us about over 100 years ago will do us in.

I always thought that pregnant women were beautiful, but when i see her i want to throw up. I can believe anyone would feel sorry for someone who had everything and then f---ed it all up to play house with some free loading, white trash loser. I guess they deserve each other. Hmm...
