Marisa Tomei Gets Off!

Don't ever underestimate the power of Marisa Tomei's smile. The famous grin not only lights up the big screen, but it also carries an uncanny influence over the NYPD.

The "Anger Management" and "Someone Like You" star was pulled over in New York City over the weekend for not wearing her seat belt while driving through the Big Apple. Sources tell TMZ that Tomei gave one of her best performances yet, as she begged the officer to let her slide. Among her reported tactics; repeatedly batting her long luscious eyelashes and continuously flashing her pearly whites.

Tomei's flirt session worked like a charm! The officer fell for the act hook, line & sinker and allowed the actress to drive away with only a warning!

16. hmm,,,,,,good for her - last summer i was driving FAST and not that fast - in a black cabrio - top down - earth wind and fire blasting - and got pulled over for speeding - i was on a back road with no traffic -

the cop found a 40's woman out on a drive - sober - just having fun - his parting words to me were "- i would slow down if i were you - 69 is not a legal speed on the MD roads!" gave me a wink and a warning -

i hardly had to flirt - i was really worried i was going to get a ticket - he just saw who i was and cut me a break! some cops are good -

and WHY give Marisa a ticket for a SEATBELT! oh please! she rocks!

19. Thats my boyfriend and that is not what happened!
I happen to look a lot like Miss Tomei and he told her that and she saw a pic and started laughing. The reason she didnt get a ticket was because a bunch of paparazi were around the car blocking traffic and he had to get them off the road.
If you are a police officer in NYC's village you are used to celebs. It's nice but it's not a reason to let someone off with a warning!

20. The only thing that is 'typical' here are the reactions to the photo. In it, you see a cop, talking to Ms. Tomei. "Sources say" she wasn't wearing her seatblet, "sources say" she flirted to get out of the ticket.... Hey people, I've got a bridge to sell you! Here's another possibility - for the photo, and the comments about cop's not giving out tickets to attractive girls: *maybe* the cop considereed the severity of the situation, versus the courtesy given by the motorist. Maybe she stopped to ask for direstions, or to report something she just saw.
As far as the person who wrote: "Cop are fat assed donut eaters anyway.Seat belts should not be mandetory. There is no freadom anymore. If you want your guts and your friends who ride with you to hav their brains spread all over the road so be it" well, you seem to have some animosity towards cops. Maybe they keep catching you breaking the law or violating traffic rules? You might think your argument is solid, but to me it sounds like you got hit in the head one too many times (maybe not wearing a helmet on your scooter?

21. It's not just girls that get away with doing this.... my ex-boyfriend (a dead ringer for Matt Damon) once got out of a speeding ticket by flirting like crazy with the female cop who pulled him over.
