Streisand Fans Under Attack

Legions of Barbra Streisand fans are on high alert today, after an Internet ticket scam could render scores of ultra-expensive concert tickets useless. Oh, the humanity!!!!



According to Ticketmaster, more than one thousand tickets to Bab's upcoming national concert tour were illegally purchased using stolen credit card information. Now, the company is officially invalidating those tickets, mostly purchased through websites and other unauthorized sellers, leaving many die-hard Streisand fans praying that their stubs are legit.

A list of the Streisand tickets that have been canceled to date is available for reference on Ticketmaster's official website.

17. There are things Babs has done that I don't agree with like how much you have to pay for her tickets...I see no reason for this... But AGE has nothing to do with singing or anything else... This woman will always have a beautiful voice!!!

18. Streisand is the ugliest, foul sounding, morally bancrupt, intellectually vacant, pig singer there ever was.

This is an insult to decent people, that this rotted pile of trash should be taken seriously by any thing.

Jennifer Anniston looks like Streisand. (That tells you all you need know about Anniston).

19. Many years ago, I can remember watching the Johnny Carson show, and Barbra Streisand was supposed to be a guest one night. She cancelled her appearance with no explanation, and without enough time to book a replacement. I can still remember Johnny explaining to the audience what happened, and stating that "I am here to tell you that she will NEVER AGAIN be asked to appear on this program." Barbra reeked of diva that night, and in my opinion, has only gotten much worse.

20. So much ignorance, so many fools..........ah, thank God for freedom of speech! I think if people that enjoy concerts should take their time and do something worht while, should contact there State Representatives to regulate Ticketmaster for selling these ticket brokers tickets in advance who are killing it for the little guy and then making the celebrity look bad. If Barbra wants to charge $750 for her high end tickets and people choose to buy them, so be it! The ticket brokers that get inside before the average Joe, snap up all of the great seats that TRUE fans are willing to pay for turn around and sell them for $7500 a pair, that needs legislation. Unfortunately many people, especially right now in this country are living on hamburger wages and craving steak. People have the right to like and admire whom ever they want. They also have the right to buy tickets for what ever price they can afford, but these scalpers are just that..............scalpers! It is time to boycott ticket brokers every where.

21. DIE HARD STREISAND FANS WERE ON LINE, (THE INTERNET), ON LINE (AT OUTLETS AND VENUES) AND ON THE PHONE WITH TICKETMASTER AND GOT THEIR TIX THE HONEST WAY. WHEN YOU PAY WAYYYY MORE THAN THE TIX WERE WORTH AND BY FROM ANOTHER SOURCE SUCH AS SCALPERS AND EBAY, WELL THIS IS THE RISK THEY TAKE. NOW ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE WONT GET TO SEE THE SHOW AND THE ONLY PEOPLE THEY CAN BLAME IS THEMSELVES. NOT EVERYONE MAY LIKE TICKETMASTER POLICIES AND PRACTICES BUT THEY DO GET YOU INTO YOUR SHOW REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCES AS LONG AS YOU PURCHASED THROUGH THEM. WELL AT LEAST I AM GONNA SEE BABS.

23. Some of these posts are so vicious - it just shows that Streisand is still a force to be reckoned with. Her immense talent will ensure that. She terrifies the right because they know people will listen to her.
