Voight to Jolie -- "Regards to....What's Her Name?"

Angelina Jolie's estranged father Jon Voight sent a shout out to his grandkids Saturday, but it seems like absence makes the memory grow weaker -- he royally screwed up one of the names.

At the fourth annual BAFTA Tea Party (BAFTA is the Oscars for Brits), Voight was talking with a reporter on the red carpet when he decided to send birthday wishes to Maddox, Angelina's five-year-old child. That went well, but then things took an ugly turn. Voight also sent well-wishes to "Shakira" -- problem is, he was talking about Angelina's 1 1/2-year-old daughter. Shakira is considerably older -- 29. The correct name -- Zahara. Close, but no cigar. Actors are famous for always getting another chance, and take two was perfect.

Jolie and her father haven't spoken since he went on "Access Hollywood" four years ago, urging her daughter to get help for her "mental problems."

18. Hey leona , the 'washed up' guy was nominated for an emmy. Psycho bitch, child-collector has done nothing once she exhausted her psycho-bitch character choices. she has no ability to play anything but herself which people are tiring of.... and she's getting ugly fast as all those puffy-faced chicks do as the years and gravity roll on!

20. Ok yes forgive him because its the only way to receive forgiveness but lets get real the old father daughter battle is one that we fight until one of us passes, then we remmeber the good times. Some grandparnets can't remmeber they own names lets not start with the grandkids.

21. Sorry people I couldn't disagree more, you protect your children. Parents have a right to protect their children. He does not get an automatic invite into the lives of those children just because he has a DNA link. Hell the way he uses his appearances now he obviously has no qualms about using or providing information to the public for his own gain.

Keep that idiot Jon away from your children Angelina. Those kids have others in their life.

23. Amy Jon uses the kids to get media attention so what is the difference. I wouldn't let anyone in my children's lives who repeatedly use the media to get more coverage for himself.

26. Angelina isn't crazy these days though, I think she has made a remarkable turn around from the person she was just a few years ago. Angelina used to cut herself but it wasn't for pleasure she had a pretty screwed up childhood. It's funny that her Dad wants to be apart of her childrens lives, but was hardly around for Angelina and her brother when they were kids.

He didn't just say she needed mental help, he also made some remarks that weren't so pleasant about her adopting Maddox. And that she wasn't fit to be a mother. So I don't blame Angelina for not wanting to speak to him or not wanting her kids around him. Here is a guy that was hardly around for her when she was growing up, he made remarks publicly about her that were uncalled for. And now can't even get her kids names right.

29. Are you people insane? That guy has GOT to be the biggest A**hole out there. Look at him. He's drunk and an IDIOT. Who does he think he is? Look at him and the way he carries on in public. If he had any sincerity whatsoever concering Angelina and her children he'd STFU with the media and deal with it privately. Who could trust someone like this? Let alone who would want him as a grandfather to your children.

If anything this convinces me Angelina made the right decision about this guy. Talk about a dysfunctional parent. Good for Angelina!

30. I completely understand keeping the children away from him. If you have an abusive parent, whether physically or emotionally, you should do your best to keep your children away from them. Really, if any of you had a horrible childhood would you be willing to take the chance your parents would inflict the same torture on your children? Think about it.
