Ann Curry Loses by a Nose

Ann Curry suffered a nasty injury Wednesday on "Today." Nope, it didn't happen in the Middle East. It happened at 30 Rock in the Big Apple.

Curry was going through a revolving door (this is not a veiled reference to talent) in between segments on the show, when she hit her face on the door, breaking her nose. Curry finished the show with a broken schnoz.

Curry, ever the trooper, did not show up for work Thursday. But it's not because she's too vain or a wuss. Ann was in New Orleans, interviewing Brad Pitt.

I wish she would go work for Al Jazeera and go away. She is always interrupting people to be the center of attention and is more melodramatic than Geraldo. NBC will do anything to get this spook away from the studio. In addition, the WORST interviewer on TV.

6. I happen to like Ann Curry. I think that she is fine as a news reporter and she seems to be very nice.
Most of you people never have anything good to say about anyone.

8. I'm with you Samantha. Don't get me wrong. I have said bad things about some celebrities but there's no real reason to attack Ann Curry. She hasn't done a porn tape and try to act like a victim. She hasn't called anybody nasty names like firecrotch. I haven't heard any stories about her acting like a bitchy diva. In fact, she's made it to the national spotlight despite being told she would never make it in news because she's a woman. Yes I sometimes give 'em hell on tmz but it's because a person has done something. Ann Curry hasn't done anything to anybody unless the person that thinks she should have broke her neck has someting to share.

9. Oh come on, that woman SUCKS as an interviewer. She ALWAYS makes it about her in some way. Perfect that they sent her to interview the other half of that vapid Brangelina couple. I've actually been enjoying Today this summer with her absent, even if I do have to put up with annoying Campbell Brown in her stead. I hope Meredith Viera puts her in her place. Kudos to that revolving door for giving us a Curry-free morning!
