Is Christina Milian Going Broke??

Times are tough for singer/actress Christina Milian. The R&B beauty was dropped by Def Jam records earlier this year, just one short month after her third album "So Amazin" debuted. It's apparently been downhill ever since.

The former platinum selling artist is reportedly still shopping for a record label and has resorted to selling her clothes on eBay. So, is Christina really strapped for cash?

According to MediaTakeOut.com who spoke with someone close to Milian, "Christina has been using a lot of her own money to go out and promote herself, and she's not rich."

TMZ contacted Milian's reps for a comment on Christina's financial situation and future plans, but calls were not immediately returned. If you want a piece of Christina before her star completely burns out, check out her threads on eBay.

UPDATE 4:52pm: According to a recent post on Christina's Myspace page, the cash made from her eBay sale will be donated to various charities. Milian also says she would rather hold an internet auction, rather than simply donate her clothes, because many of the items are not age-appropriate for some girls. As far as her career is concerned, Milian claims she is making room for the "next round of promo," which she plans to do next year. "That's right, ur girl is on her grind!!"

16. It seems like her first single on her albums' comes out and after that you don't really hear from her until she makes another album. She needs to work with some new people and find some new subjects to sing about.

19. I was pretty surprised IDJ dumped her just two weeks after they released her album. It didn't sell huge but they have a lot of rap acts that have done worse and 'Say I' was top 15. She seems pretty cool to be taking the time to do this, whether she has more time on her hands or not, since selling stuff on ebay is a pain in the ass with the posting, communication with bidders, shipping, etc.

Damn, some of yall are haters and need to get a life, I'm one of the Co-Owners of the biggest Christina Milian Fansite on the net (ChristinasWorld.net) not to mention the administrator and head mod of the site's fan forum and I've talked to Christina plenty of times on IM and through email artist to artist and she's doing fine, she's not broke, it's just some media bullsh*t. Christina is selling her clothes and giving the money to charity, I'm giving to the charities as well. and for yall who just now heard of her, yall must have been living under a rock.

21. #18 unlike you some of us have lifes and don't care about every damn artist that comes around in the spotlight. Also she's lying about donating her clothing because if she were doing a donation then her auctions would be setup differently than the normal ebay sells. Also why would someone say there donating to a local charity and not give the names of the charites or say what the cause is for! It's also easy to see that she's not doing a public donation because with an ebay auction she can pocket the money. Please don't say, " but she's doing an auction on the internet cause she only wants adults buying her clothing" ya right, as a Ebay seller you never get any personal info. on the buyer or even know their age. The only reason this girl is doing Ebay auctions is to keep the money, is embarrassed for the public to know she's broke, and she will get more money on the internet by saying the word DONATION. Oh, by the way why would you as REAL fan even care what others think??
