Ellen's funny and she also has a heart of gold that was shown after Hurricane Katrina and all she's done to help and to continue helping the victims which is more than I can say for the supposedly morally upright of the Bush administration which turned their backs on all the people dying in front of the Superdome. Don't forget that. If it happened to them, worse could happen to you. I'm not for "gay rights" or anything like that, but actions speak louder than preaching.

I' so glad Ellen is hosting the Oscars. I think she is one of the funniest stand up comics around today. Her timing is great, she never goes over the top..........she isn't so silly that you feel sorry for her attempts at humor.....She is FUNNY all the time......and she is likable as well.

24. This is awesome. I believe Ellen will blow anything Billy Crystal did, out the window! Ellen is one of the funniest people around. She has been on top of the world for the past few years! I cant stand watching award shows, but I will definately watch the Oscars if Ellen is hosting! Hell yeah!!! And to all of you homophobic mother f*ckers, get a clue. Get over it! 30. Ellen as host of the Oscars. Big mistake. She is not the least bit funny. Too goofy. I predict she will bomb. The best Oscar host was by far Johnny Carson . No one in this crop of so-called comedians comes close, but I did like Billy Crystal.
