Paris Pulled Over Twice in One Night

Paris Hilton after her arrestTMZ has learned that Paris Hilton's arrest for DUI wasn't her first run-in with cops Wednesday evening. Sources who attended the "Head to Hollywood" event at the Dragonfly nightclub in Hollywood --Paris' last stop before her arrest -- tell TMZ that Hilton said that she had been pulled over by police for some form of moving violation on her way to the fundraiser, thus explaining her late arrival.

Hilton did not say if she was ticketed. TMZ contacted the LAPD and surrounding law enforcement agencies, and none have any record showing Hilton was stopped or ticketed.

Paris' rep Elliot Mintz could not be reached for comment.

More details to come.

65. Movie stars are NOT invincible. Because I am a responsible member of society, I never drink and drive. (at age 4 due to a drunk driver slamming into the car of my mother and killing her, life for myself and my 3 sisters changed forever.) I know the dire consequences to the victims of those who drink and drive who do not take the responsibility of getting other means of transportation when they have consumed alcohol. Paris Hilton is a very wealthy woman, surely she could have had hired a driver (prior to drinking). If Paris or any other "celebrity" needs to be brought down to earth by facing charges then so be it. Perhaps it will teach them a lesson early enough to save an innocent bystanders life. I have no tolerance for drunk drivers, they choose to drink and get behind the wheel. The victims families are then left behind to salvage their lives with the loss of a family member. The other point is that Paris is not setting a positive example for the young people who may be her fan base. The fact that she was born into a life of wealth should not be the determining factor when braking ANY law.
