Former House Leader Weighs In on "Dancing" Race

Tom DeLayTom DeLay, the House Majority Leader who was forced to resign earlier this year, has decided to pitch in his two cents about one of America's tightest races. No, not a political race. We're talking about the new season of "Dancing With the Stars."

DeLay, a former Republican congressman from Texas, sent out a letter to his supporters urging them to watch -- and vote for -- country singer Sara Evans in the third season of the popular ABC show. "Sara Evans has been a strong supporter of the Republican Party and represents good American values in the media," DeLay wrote. "We have always been able to count on Sara for her support of the things we all believe in. Let's show Sara that same support."

But DeLay's comments weren't just limited to supporting Evans. No, DeLay also took the time to bash one of Evans' competitors. "One of her opponents on the show is ultra liberal talk show host Jerry Springer," DeLay wrote. "We need to send a message to Hollywood and the media that smut has no place on television by supporting good people like Sara Evans."

"Dancing With the Stars" premieres September 12.

39. Such hate always present when someone makes a comment. "He who is without sin throw the first stone." We don't really need to go around judging others, that is the Lord's job. He will judge each of us face to face someday for everything we have done, whatever we have said during our life time, and yes He will have the last word. I'm no supporter of DeLay, for I'm aware he's a good "con-man" just like most politicians. They could care less about going to Washington to improve our lives or to make the nation any better. All they give a shit about is in maintian their certain life-style.

Why must we blame DeLay for our own stupidities?
For so long as we continue to vote for politicians because: "he looks like an honest guy", "He has moral values", "he's a good family man", etc..., (and with very little regards for his abilities to address and solve current issues facing us or the nation, we shall continue to be taken to the cleaners by "con-men" like him.

Isn't it time we get away from the dumb T.V games and try to educate ourselves about the electoral process???
