39. LEAVE MEL ALONE!!!!!!!! Mel made an error, first by drinking and driving, then not using his head when he said the comments regarding Jews. Mel has given us fantastic entertainment, fantastic films, has donated to different charities including the police in LA. Everyone is allowed to make mistakes and learn from them, and NOT be treated the way he has been. Mel and his family should be in everyone's thoughts and prayers, as alcoholism is a tragic disease that is felt throughout a family, and I know as I was part of an alcoholic family. And remember one thing, those without sin, cast the first stone! And I've yet to meet anyone that hasn't made BIG mistakes in their lives and they were not shunned!!
As for the rude comments from Barbara Walters and those in Hollyrude, well, lets see what YOU may be doing that would show YOU are human and not perfect. I will always continue to support Mel and his family and his movies, and to those that don't, well that's YOUR loss. SO LEAVE THE MAN AND HIS FAMILY ALONE!!!!!!

41. You know I really like Mel and I think everyone blows this all out of proportion. The jewish community know better than anyone else that a man must be masugana to make comments like that and who is to say you arent when youve been drinking. Get over this people and media stop beating a daed horse. How many celebrities get away with drinking and driving. Lots of them have issues all the way back to Gene Krupa who got busted for pot in the 40s Oh My the nerve of him haha. Mel is a good actor director and writer. I think he was just blowing off some steam. Why did the cops even mention what he said are they jealous? Did they need to spread vicious gossip? Did the cops want to hurt the jewish community? Now Mel buddy dont take offense to this but the real crime here is You just made 350 million dollars on The Passions of Christ and you had a chit load of money before that. Why do you supposed you got such an easy sentence by judge prejudice? Any normal civilian would have paid three times that and had 3 years probaiton Year and a half in traffic frigging BS class loss of license for so long and have to spend two days in Jail. i think the real crime here is the sentencing for the rich ass people who can afford the money is one third the amount that the struggling broke ass barely surviving little guys get.
Im an actor and I will stand behind Mel on this one its not that big of deal it goes on 50 times a day if you think about it all over Calif alone. Peace Out Mel See you soon Want to help me shoot a movie I have a good comedy script waiting.
