Jessica's Fendi Bag and (Good) Attitude

Only Jessica Simpson can make "A Public Affair" out of a simple shopping trip. After four hours of shopping (yes, four hours) at the Fendi store in New York, Jessica was swarmed by fans waiting outside.

A visibly surprised Simpson took time to hug, kiss and take photos with a number of the thrilled fans -- many of whom asked her well-being after she bruised her vocal chords last week. "I'm still really bad" Jess told one of the women in the crowd.
Simpson also showed off her massive shopping bag and was sporting a fashionable jacket with red stripes she purchased from the upscale retailer.

5. I love how when Jess broke up with Nick she hid from the paparazzi and fans for months - she never kissed or hugged fans that waited for her, and she never stopped to sign autographs. NOW that she's got an album out, she takes the time to be everyone's best friend. What a USER - how have her fans not seen this yet? She is self-absorbed and narcisistic.

7. exactly calling it, I so agree with you, I remember a few months ago when I ended my six year relationship, even though I was heartbroken I knew that I was a part of society first not human so instead of hiding away and taking time to heal I made sure to extend myself to everyone around me though I had little energy to extend, I knew it was my duty to do so, I'm surprised Jessica Simpson doesn't know that.

8. It is NOT at all standard procedure to book a female at Hollywood station and let her go. First there is NO women's jail in Hollywood. Females are driven to Van Nuys, booked there. Yes, this is true of a first offense DUI. Also cuffs remain on the entire time until you are booked and mug shot taken in Van Nuys, a good 10 miles away. How do I know? I myself was a first offense DUI. I spent a night in Van Nuys, along with another female driven from Hollywood. (two separate rides at taxpayers expense) I met dozens of other DUI's later in court and at DUI classes. NONE were treated like Paris. ALL were cuffed. And many spent a good 12-15 hours or more in custody, some days. Harvey L, you should investigate this special treatment...Mel Gibson was actually routine arrest,
not Paris.

9. Everyone handles their grief differently, and Jessica needed time to heal. You don't know how her situation was, it must have been awful, & Nick was her first love, being together for 7 yrs. She's a great girl, with beauty, talent, & personality. Remember Jess is very young & her whole life was Nick. She's had time to grieve, now she's ready for anything. Go girl!
