38. Leave her Dad alone... he helped her get to where she is today by investing his time and caring how she got there. Yes, her own voice got her there but he helped get her to additions and stood behind her to encourage and develop her talent. He helps manage her. He isn't just riding on her coat tails; he has put a lot of work in her career as well. I don't care who she dates. She use to be a role model for girls...I wish she would think more about that again and use her voice as her talent and not act like she did in that recent video where she is at skating rink. There are enough artists that only use sex as their way to get noticed instead of their actual talent and voice. I am tired of seeing successful people especially with such a God given talent act all humble at first then spoiled and awful later....the stars throwing tatrums....they wanted to be out there as celebrities...we need to show respect but at same time they want alot of the attention plus having the money they do and how they act...they should be ashamed. I am not just directing this towards her...I actually like her but I rather her be more like she use to be instead of trying to prove something and just want attention.

I can't stand her (or any of the Simpsons) but I think it is funny because she surely must have the last laugh all the way to the bank, making untold millions a year, she and her pimp-paw, sometimes the only real talent they have is for keppin' you people talkin' about them, bitchin' bout them, writin' bout them, their talent is for stirring up chaos, interest, disgust etc, but it all makes them money, positive or negative it keeps their star alive for just a little longer. Just face it... lots of people are famous too easily these days, famous and nobody really knows why, is pathetic, Jessica's should be 15 minutes of shame, or 15 minutes of LAME!

42. Gosh, the comments on here are always so nasty. Doesn't anyone have anything nice to say? None of us really know what went wrong in the marriage. It's easy to speculate and say that Jessica screwed up. But, who really knows? Newlyweds was a TV show created for ratings. I don't think it is accurate to make a judgment about their marriage based on what we saw on that show.
Personally, I think Jessica is very beautiful and a cool girl. I think she's probably a genuinely nice person. I can't believe how many people are picking her apart on here, especially based on her appearance. I think she looks better now then she looked in the Dukes. She was way too thin for her build then.

43. It had to have been Joe Simpson who fired Rob Shuter. Joe has this complete control over everybody, even his daughter Jessica. And why AGAIN is Joe beside Jessica at the MTV Video Music Awards? He should have been in the regular audience, not anywhere near the celebrities. And I saw Joe's name AGAIN on the album credits of Jessica's new album for her management. I thought Jessica had gone with someone else to manage her career. Or is Joe trying to look like hunky Nick Lachey or something? He's coming dangerously close to it with his recent appearances and having his hair so spiked up like Nick's.

44. Why can't Jessica Simpson do the right thing and fire her dad as manager? She should go with The Firm, Irving Azoff, Roger Davies or other management to handle her music career. Joe sounds so overcontrolling! He came up with the reality show on MTV and it's been repeated over 15,000 times on the network on weekends. Jessica sounds so silly with the Chicken of the Sea rants when they repeat it over and over again. I'd rather hear her music instead. I even listened to the funky "With You" on the New Jersey Turnpike on July 30 (on a road trip to New York) instead of some of her overproduced, bombastic ballads. But maybe Jessica doesn't want to listen to me or any ranting fans that want her dump Joe and get more experienced management to handle her career.

45. honestly, the girl has to BREAK UP finally with her demented, overpossessive father, anyone can see that he's the real reason for the failed marriage, and the bad PR all the time. I feel for John Mayer, I wouldn't want to be associated with a Joe-zombie- bimbo like her anyway, if they did hook up, I hope he at least got a blow job out of it, she seems desperate enough anymore moaning about wanting to be loved.....if she does want a real man, she has to grow up first and she should talk to Beyonce to learn how to grow some balls and tell her Dad to get his own life. (But then he'll leech onto Ashley, maybe Jess is just trying to protect her little sis from preditor Dad!!!) Don't worry TMZ, if someone tries to threaten you with a lawsuit it won't hold. The proof is in the pictures...every court in the land would prove Papa Joe as an unfit father hell bent on overexposing his daughters for financial gain. Period.
