Mullally Wants to Tap Matt Damon

Megan Mullally: Click to watchMegan Mullally is moving from "Will & Grace" to her own daytime talk show and she's hoping for some action from "The Bourne Identity" star Matt Damon.

"I wouldn't mind tapping into Matt Damon if you know what I mean, but I don't think that's really what you meant, that's a different show ... I'm sorry, my everything stopped when you said Matt Damon."

Though she's dropped her high pitch voice, the Emmy winner is still just as funny as her former alter-ego "Karen," and she's hoping for a whole new audience for the talk show. "Prisoners, just strictly prisoners," she joked adding, "I think men might get a kick out of this show too because I'm gonna take my top off, that's the only reason."

"The Megan Mullally Show" premieres September 18.

17. I watched Will and Grace for a long time and as with many of the other comments, the main reason I watched it was because of Megan. She is hilarious and a very sexy woman in my opinion. Of course the rampant gay humor was quite funny also. Best of luck with the new show!

18. I think that you need a moderator for your comments. I think too many people just character assasinate because they think it's fun. What I want to see is someone checking out the comments, and definately get rid of the folks who have rude and very hostile and sexual remarks. Like a dried up vagina. That is totally low budget and for those who feel that this is ok, I guess I have no business on this freedom of slaughter.

20. Megan is fantastic! Absolutely one of the most talented ladies that we've had the pleasure to see on TV. Once I heard her sing, I had to rush out to purchase her CD. Best wishes for her and her new show!

22. Do not like this woman, would not watch her show. Hate her voice both on Will and Grace and off. She was one reason that I DID NOT watch Will and Grace. Why would the show even want her to display that kind of voice I will never understand. To each his own I say if you like her fine, I just don't.

25. I agree with Teri-- W&G really was the Karen and Jack show. If her talk show is half as funny as the commercials for it, or half as funny as she was on W&G it may even surpass Ellen (who also is a riot)!

26. This woman is really funny and extremely talented. She's also cute. Why the asinine comments about being "old" and "wrinkled"? Are we looking at the same person? She's young and attractive for God's sake.

27. Never watch these stupid sit-coms. They are all atrocious and I couldn't see the point of watching something that is pointless.

28. I can't stand her! And I couldn't stand 'Will and Grace'.

29. I also watched the Will and Grace show simply because the way she ran away with it playing DRUNKEN KAREN! HILLARIOUS!! All her antics and her voice--I completely LOVED it!! She is QUITE an actress, because I saw her on a talk show recently and she has a "normal" voice. She is VERY talented....

30. This coming Monday, 18 September, marks the debut of her show. There are some who feel that Megan will do fabulously, there are some who loved her as Karen, and then there are some who love her with Sean Hayes, as Jack McFarland (the Jack and Karen Show)!!! Sean and Megan make the best duo, sidekicks, with a definite chemistry together with each other. Megan has said in her interviews that Sean and Eric (McCormack) WILL be guesting on her show at a later date. Time magazine did a great Q&A with her and discussed her chemistry with Sean both on screen and off-screen, as well. It will be interesting to see how this show turns out. There is plenty of room for Ellen, Oprah, AND Megan. I TIVO Ellen and Oprah because I am at work when both shows are on. I will have to TIVO Megan too as I am at work when she is on too. Megan hopes for a new audience as well as her loyal and dedicated Will and Grace fans and followers who she hopes will be able to accept her in a "different voice" and still maintain her fan base she developed on Will and Grace. They will come along with her, she is hoping!!! I love Ellen and I love Oprah and both do alot for humanity and give back alot to this world. I DO enjoy Sean and Megan together but I am willing to give it a chance to see Megan without her "Seanie". I will be open-minded and see what happens with her show. Daytime television will make room for her without a doubt. Personally, I cannot wait for Debra Messing to appear with her. I think those ratings will double because of the Will and Grace factor. "Break a leg, Megan"!!!
