Is Paris Hilton on the lam? The latest DUI celebrity suspect hit the clubs Thursday night, wearing a dark-colored wig.
Paris was scheduled to appear at a release party for her new movie, "Bottoms Up," where Sleepy Brown was scheduled to perform his new single, "Margarita." Ironically, Paris was busted by the LAPD in the wee hours of Thursday morning after downing that very drink. That may explain why Paris skipped her own party, and instead showed up at Hyde nightclub in Hollywood.
Paris left the club with her ever-trusty publicist, Elliot Mintz, who took the wheel and drove the heiress home. When Paris got out of the car, a gaggle of paparazzi asked, why the wig? She responded "Just for fun." One photog wanted to know how Paris was treated in the pokey. Mintz replied, "...just wonderfully."

I guess because Paris did not make any offending comments it is not as bad for her to go out and kill innocent people on the road drunk. And what is this LAPD not going to release her mug shot? Has any other star gotten that kind of treatment?
Frankly, what is all the fuss about? She is one of the most publicized celebrites we see, yet for what? Just for being famous? My question is famous for what....being the who's who? I never saw talent, or sacrifice, working for causes, or what makes this particular girl so "special". I don't see where she is such a "nice" person either, so forgive me if I turn the page!!

Any non -celeb who failed a field sobriety test , then blew a .08 WOULD have been asked to submit to one of two chemical tests, either urine or blood in order to not have their license automatically taken away from them on the spot from the arresting officer,according to California Vehicle Code. Furthermore, they would have been detained for several hours until they had sobered up, and not been released on their own recognizants. "Suspicion" of DUI? "? OOPS...Is that another way of saying that somebody messed up and "forgot" to do the chemical test? LOL.
i think paris should just really open her eyes and realize how she is ruining herself image and the more she does this the more and more people will hate her
13. The charge is bogus and she can beat it in court if she wants. The first reports were that she was .079. .08 is the legal limit and that law was made because that's when a person first MIGHT be impaired. It was .1 not too many years ago. .079 is consistent with one margarita if there's a moderate amount of tequila in it. What social drinker hasn't driven after a single drink? I don't care who she is, she ought to fight it.
#13 is FALSE the charge is not bogus and she was not arrested w/o cause. Police would never arrest a celebrity w/o probable cause. They stopped her while she was driving because she showed visible signs of being drunk. They didn't even realize it was her until after they had stopped her. Tequila is much stronger than other types of alcohol and the purer it is the stronger it is. Quite possibly Paris was not used to drinking tequila, or had already consumed alcohol prior to having the margarita and felt that one drink would not impair her judgment or reaction time driving. Diluting it with ice and syrup will not slow the effects much. According to her account she had not eaten so the alcohol would have saturated her blood quicker and she her impairment would be almost immediate.
The point is ANY alcohol can impair your judgement especially when driving and adversely affect your reaction to other drivers! The level of alcohol found in Paris' blood is enough to have caused her to straddle the white line separating lanes or even cause her to inadvertently merge over to the right.
No one goes to nightclubs 24/7 gets arrested and immediately goes clubbing again.. That lifestyle goes hand in hand with an alcoholic's. The majority of people who go clubbing drink. Paris mostly likely is an alcoholic.
