Meatloaf has reportedly been snubbed by Scarlett Johansson.
The rocker was on a quest to find an actress to duet with for his cover of Celine Dion's 1996 hit "It's All Coming Back to Me Now." Yes, you heard correctly, Celine Dion!
Loaf allegedly first asked Johansson before reaching out to other actresses, who all turned him down.
The gig eventually went to Norwegian chanteuse Marion Raven. The song appears on Meatloaf's new album "Bat Out of Hell III," which drops October 31.
While we don't know the reasoning behind the actress' snub, Meatloaf's creepy "American Idol" finale duet with Katharine McPhee probably didn't help matters much.

I feel bad that they all snubbed Meatloaf. You said he was "creepy". Get the facts straight. I read that Meatloaf is sick with some type of disease and it took everything he had to appear in stage with Katharine McPhee on American Idol.
So sick of people being so judgemental and especially the darn actresses who think they're better than everyone else. Enough already!

I believe this song was originally written for Meat by Jim Steinman, so it's not so crazy that he's finally recording it. Congrats Meat, for finally getting Bat 3 off the ground and giving us something other than the Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson crap to listen to.

Evidently he didn't ask McPhee because she will do anything to stay in the news. I think he had stage fright that night on Amer Idol. It happens to alot of artists. He is a good actor in movies though and you don't perform live.
