18. It always amazes me how much negativity gets tossed at Tom, but not at Katie. Is she not a gold digger? What a great Catholic getting knocked up out of wedlock. What has she done with her career after Dawson's Creek except for Batman? Does she have any upcoming jobs besides child support? Seems like there is a lot of coat tail riding going on. 19. Katie Holmes definately has her own agenda. My opinion of her has gone way down. She is no mother. Mother's SPEND TIME with their babies. She made a deal with the DEVIL when she signed on to play WIFEY. Everything they do SCREAMS OUT " Phonies "

Just once I would like to read about how Katie was shopping, or eating out , or running a errand where she is pictured with her daughter. 20. Wow ! Not again. When is this blitz of damage control going to end ? Just when you think it's over , they pop up again pretending to be in LOVE.

Common sense tells you that you don't pick someone out of a movie and all of a sudden your both in love with each other. Hell these two didn't even know each other's bad habbits and they were living together and she was knocked up. Only in Tom's sick world does that happen.

I don't care how many times she goes on Showbiz tonight professing her well rehursed lines about how much in love they are. I DON'T BELIEVE A WORD OF IT. They are both a couple of actors playing out their roles until the HEAT DIES OFF. I'm afraid we will be seeing these 2 sorry asses for a while to come. 23. Hey, Wise Old Owl - did you ever think that maybe a high end restaurant is NOT someplace to take a baby for the evening. Perhaps you don't mind since you take your baby with you everywhere but I object strongly to being at a restaurant, especially an expensive restaurant, and having to share the evening with crying babies. You said that this restaurant has a high celebrity clientele and I doubt any of the patrons of the restaurant would have appreciated an infant while they dine. Maybe they didn't rent a baby, maybe they rented a babysitter for the evening. Sorry but I can't condemn them for leaving the baby home this time - and I'm willing to bet had they taken the baby with them, the flack would have been high and loud.

25. How about if some of you comment on your own relationships. Why is it any of your business if they love each other, what there baby looks like or why they choose to go out to dinner at a nice restaurant. All of you seem to just be out to take shots at them because there beautiful and rich and famous and maybe your all all low income not so good looking people with no good job prospects. Does anyone care to say what there profession is or there age or anything about them. Probally not because that is private and you want to keep it to your self. Well guess what they diserve some privacy too. Just because we pay them to entertain us does not give us the right to know every last detail about there lives. Try having a friend photograph you in the manner the papperazzi do one day and see how it feels. Athletes get paid millions of dollars too and they don't get terrorized on a daily basis. If your not happy with your looks go to a gym or get plastic surgery and if you don't like your job get a better one. Go back to school if you need to. But stop being so cruel you all have no right. I own my own cleaning business bye the way and am 30 and live in atlanta and i'm completely average looking and okay with that.

27. For post # 13 Lu. As a matter of fact, I did take my infant out with me to fine resturants. She was very well behaved, and I never had an incident where fellow dinner's where compromised. I did have quite a few come up to comment how beautiful she was and remark what a good baby she was.

But I'm not just talking about resturants here. I am talking about going ANYWHERE WITH HER. I am just sick to death of Tom's over obsessed fans who will stick up for his actions without reasoning. NO matter what his odd behaviior is, you just make up poor excuses for it.

2: There are son many holloywood actors who are famous and yet never seen in al lthe famous place like teh ivey where the paps hang out. In the 80s Patrick Swayze voiced that as an actor you can choose to avoid the publicty by not going to these high end places. Those who go to these places are looking for attention

3: Tom is simply mounting serious PR to salvage his career, and Katie the obedient Paramour is only workign hard for her Designer garbs by helping including her parents

4: I think we all agree that they live in a pretty fucked up reality. They can choose to dissapear and not be seen fo rmonths but when they intentionally hang out in places where the flash bulbs are going pop pop..then they really should not complain

5. Celebs can afford not to know each other bad habits after all they have the help wiping their asses so it takes longer than regular folk for the charm to wear off. Yes it may seem like they divorce and break up quickly , but if they were ordinary folk they would not have one beyond the first date, because lack of champs and chocolats will give you a clearer vision of the person

6: Finallly, these two certainly have nannies. They obviously spend too much time sans the baby to actually be the primary care taker. How on earth does a breastfeeding mon spend a whole day shopping..Her milk should stain her clothes or the baby will be living on formula...WIERDOS

7: Cant wait for this to bust wide open even if it takes ten years. Katies will sign a a prenup and doe swill nto be getting much. 30. To Wise Old Owl - Nope, don't work for Tom Cruise. But I am one of the very many who have gone to a fine restaurant and had to put up with the squalls of babies who's parents couldn't bear to leave their little angel at home and just assumed that, since she's beautiful (aren't all babies in the eyes of their parents), naturally other patrons of the restaurant would be willing to overlook a few tears. Perhaps your infant was angelic and never cried - unfortunately I've been in far too many instances where that wasn't the case. Believe it or not, many of us still believe there are a few places where the presence of a baby is just not appropriate.

As for them not taking their baby ANYWHERE - well, after seeing the antics of the paparazzi I can't say that I really blame them. Why would anyone want to put their child through that kind of trauma? Cruise and Holmes get the attention that comes with the kind of life they've chosen to lead - that doesn't mean that their baby has to be part of the package. I'd really be rather disgusted if they were out putting her on display "in the flesh". The way the paparazzi pushes and paws at celebrities is bad enough without putting a child at risk for the same kind of treatment. You can see in the video that "anything goes" when it comes to getting that very saleable picture - do you really think the average paparazzi would be less forceful if the baby were with her famous parents?
