You're Not in Laguna Beach Anymore, Dorothy!

Former "Laguna Beach" star Jason Wahler has received a heaping dose of reality.

As first reported by E! Online and PerezHilton.com, Wahler was recently arrested in New York and charged with one count each of disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and bribery.

The incident occurred on the morning of September 1 after Wahler attended the MTV Video Music Awards.

According to the court documents, Wahler was obstructing traffic by standing in the street and creating a public disturbance. Officers then attempted to handcuff the 19-year-old, but he resisted.

After being taken to the precinct, police found cocaine in Wahler's left front pants pocket. Adding insult to injury, Wahler repeatedly attempted to offer money to the officer in exchange for his release.

Wahler is due back in court on December 11.

Its been a bad few weeks for Wahler as he recently broke up with his "Laguna Beach" co-star Lauren "LC" Conrad.

31. What is he doing drugs for??? Most guys in this world would love his life...beautiful girlfirend, tons of money. Its such a waste!
I always thought he was kind of "off" on his shows like something was wrong with him now I know why.

38. For those of you that ask "Why do we even care about this"? Obviously you do because you are reading the comments but MOST of all because our children are watching him on television and thinking his actions are "normal". If you were a parent you would realize that it is important who our children look up to.

Jason has the brain and personality of a goat anyway, so dumb. Young people serving in Iraq putting their lives on the line and then you have this spoiled, rich, arrogant, ignorant piece of crap, unreal!
