Anna Nicole Lost Memory of Son's Death

Anna Nicole and Daniel Smith While the circumstances surrounding the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel are still unclear, Anna Nicole has now issued a statement, through her Bahamian lawyer Michael R. Scott, detailing the events of the incident.

Smith says she, Howard K. Stern (her US lawyer) and Daniel spent the entire evening on Saturday together in her hospital room after Stern picked Daniel up at the airport at 10:30pm.

At 9:38 am Sunday morning, Anna Nicole awoke and noticed her son was not breathing and alerted nurses. Medical staff attempted to revive Daniel but were unsuccessful. Daniel was pronounced dead but "Anna Nicole and Howard frantically continued resuscitation efforts."

Anna Nicole refused to leave her son's side and it became necessary "to sedate her in order to check her out of the hospital."

Due to the sedation and her grief, Anna Nicole suffered "memory loss of the event" and Stern even had to tell her again that Daniel had died.

Smith's statement adds that she is "shocked and appalled" that the press have not allowed her to grieve in private. And is asking the media to wait for the coroner's report "before leaping to sensational, speculative and unfounded conclusions as to how Daniel died."

please give her some peace during this time...I'm sure the Stalk-A_Razzi are all over her right now...that is why she moved to the Bahamas in the first place...to get away and raise her new baby...and now this...I feel really bad for her.....

32. My prayers go out to Anna Nicole and her sons family. This is a terrible cross for any human being to bear. I do not wish this type of pain on anyone! May Daniel rest in peace and may Anna find the peace in her heart to go on for the sake of her baby girl.

36. It's such a weird, terrible thing to have happen to someone. I can't even fathom what she must be going through right now. Regardless of her past actions, she didn't deserve this; no one does.

37. I HONESTLY THINK IN LIFE THINGS REALLY DO HAPPEN FOR A REASON AND SOMETIMES WE NEVER KNOW WHAT THAT REASON IS. I JUST HOPE AND PRAY THAT ANNA FINDS THE STRENGTH TO HOLD ON TO THIS LIFE WITH EVERYTHING THAT SHE HAS. SHE HAS A BABY THAT WILL NEED HER NOW AND FOREVER. I CAN'T EVEN SIT HERE AND SAY THAT I HAVE ANY CLUE HOW SHE FEELS BECAUSE I DON'T AND PRAY TO GOD EVERYDAY THAT I NEVER FIND OUT. AS FAR AS HER HAVING TO BE SEDATED, HONEY TO LOSE A CHILD IF THIS IS WHAT IT TOOK TO CALM HER DOWN BY NO MEANS WAS THERE ANY THING WRONG WITH THAT. IF I WAS TO EVER LOSE ONE OF MY BABIES GOD HIMSELF WOULD BE THE ONLY TO HELP ME!!!!

Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel -it is strange to me. 1.nicole is a wild woman that does drugs/alcohol.2.she is a very loose promscious woman infact admits to being bi s~ 3.she did not act as though she a mother infact she was many things 4.she was a playboy bunny go go dancer -she met married a old man for his money /then is sue the son for the money. this man died 5.Now her son is dead ? strange?what kind of a woman would you say she is -does she got intregrity?

i want to say death is death no matter which way it did happened,no body wants to die but we dont have any control in any way it comes let annas family be,i sincerely pray to God to give her and her family the fortitude to bear the loss and God grant daniel eternal rest in his bossom in jesus name.................reporters beware dont say what ya"ll dont know becuase ya"ll stir up trouble with all them fake stories.....................................................

43. So Kari, you have to be a model of virtue to be a 'good mother', huh? I suppose it's impossible to have a wild life and still really love certain people. Or have you just decided that Anna is too vile to possibly have any redeeming qualities? Tell me, Kari... Ever met the woman? Ever seen her anywhere except on a TV or movie screen? How well do you know her to feel so qualified to judge her?

Bottom line, folks... A mother has lost her child. Yes, the circumstances surrounding Daniel's death are suspicious and bear closer examination, but we have a little tradition in this country called 'innocent until proven guilty'. From the tone of some of you, I can tell that it's not a well-known tradition. Either that, or you think Anna so depraved as to kill her own son as a publicity stunt... Which again begs the question, what do you REALLY know about the woman?
