In the wake of Duane Dog Chapman's arrest and pending extradition to Mexico, support is pouring in for the famed bounty hunter.
A&E, the channel which airs his reality series "Dog the Bounty Hunter," issued a statement saying, "A&E supports Dog and his family during this difficult time and is proud of his role in helping to bring a convicted serial rapist to justice."
Chapman traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in 2003 to retrieve Max Factor cosmetics heir Andrew Luster, who was wanted in the U.S. on rape charges. Luster is now in jail, serving a 124-year term. The Chapmans were jailed in Mexico for a brief time for the incident three years ago. Bounty hunting is considered a crime in Mexico.
"Dog is a hero to America ... Dog captured this horrible guy [Andrew Luster] and now he's in trouble for it all over again, " says Rick Fass of Powerlock, a company Chapman is a spokesman for. "It just doesn't make sense," Fass adds, "Powerlock and the entire Powerlock family stands behind our national spokesperson."
Chapman recently filmed an ad for the Powerlock company's new product, Wheel Safe, which keeps wheels, tires and custom rims locked, preventing robbery.

WHO ARE THE 12 MARSHALL'S that got the order's to bring DOG & FAMILY into custody, you should be embarrased when you found out who you were going to bring in, I personally would have quit, you need 12 of you armed, to slam his door in, and at gunpoint take this hardened criminal his son & and Mr. Chapman into custody for this act that happened 3 yrs ago.

I think that this is bull sh.t , why would they arrest him twice. They already had him in custody once, why the second arrest? Are they emberrased he caught max factor heir, and they didnt? or is it because of the immigration feud going on right now?
Dog should be able to buy his way out. Grease the palms of the new Mexican president for what, 10 large? That's about 4 billion pesos. That should be enough to equip their government with a fleet of about 150 knock-off VW bugs. A win-win! Dog goes free and they'll be happy as hell!
The Mexican government should be kissing his ass for taking a rapist off their streets. And kissing all of ours as well. If they didn't have a neighbor with the strongest economy in the world, their whole county would have dried up and blown away into the Pacific decades ago.
Maybe they're pissed because they could've bribed Max Factor for millions. Now they're out that dough and they're taking it out on Dog.
And bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico? Hell, I though it was considered a sport down there!

Why not leave Dog alone and extradite some of those Mexicans that are here illegally instead?
This is another example of why our entire immigration/extradition policies with Mexico are pathetic! This man and his son along with his brother, traveled to Mexico to capture a purely evil scum-bag that no "official" could catch! Iam a big fan of the Bounty Hunter and this is wrong what these people are doing to them .. they caught a bad man that hurt women....they should be happy...my heart goes out to Beth and her children....Dogg,Tim and Leland will be fine they are very smart guys...they will get out of this mess one way or another....
