Celebrity Feuds
Rosie & Elisabeth: Best Friends For, Er, Today?

There may be all kinds of clawing and crying off the set of "The View," but at least today, Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck played nice with one another, and even planned a little road trip à la Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King, sans their elder co-hosts Barbara Walters and Joy Behar, who decided that they wanted to stay behind and "go to the theater."

Still, an uncomfortable moment arose when the question of Oprah and Gayle's friendship (or more) arose, and Rosie asked the table whether they would allow for being just a little bit gay. Elisabeth naturally didn't agree, and began to make one of her patented rebuttals, but Joy jumped in, quipping that being totally straight or gay didn't explain "prison behavior." Just in time, once again, was Joy, but how long can she play this game so skillfully?

46. I watched the view on Sept. 29th and that Rosie is just plain out of order and so hell bent on pushing that gay thing that it is just pathetic. She talked about her and kelly's bed, she also talkd about how she woke up and went down to the kitchen and kelly was making breakfast and how she spoke to kelly saying honey when did you buy me these underwear" adnauseum give me a break. This woman have one agenda and one agenda alone and that is to stuff her and that gay crap down our throats. it was sickening and i switched channels I absolutely could not sit there and watch that garbage and I will not be a willing tool to the perpetuity of this woman and her foolishness. i care nothing about her and kelly's gay life, and it seems to me that Rosie is trying to make a point and I just don't get it and don't want to. the show is headed for hell, it's boring and stupid . How Barbara and the rest of the crew can sit there and keep a straight face is beyond me.

47. You all talk about Elizabeth being a "political cop", well Rosie tries to make it seem that everyone is gay. She needs to keep her sickening nasty agenda to her self. I can't wait to see when her "kids" grow up they are going to be real head cases. If she were my parent I would get the hell away from her as fast as I could.

48. I just happen to run across this site and I can't believe you people take The View seriously. Elizabeth has as much right to push her views as Rosie has to push hers. Why are gay people continuously trying to push their agenda on the rest of us? I don't give a crap about their sex lives. Keep it to yourselves. After all, sex is a private matter. As for The View, my thinking is that the whole show is mindless and is just taking up space from some other mindless daytime show. All you "Viewers" out there would get more out of a good book!

49. What was the WAWAWAWAW Wicked Witch of the East thinking when she dumped these two poisons into the cauldron? She clearly has lost the recipe.

One is a colorless, odorless, sleep inducing irritant, the other an overpowering super toxin.

The best mix for a show like the View is one where the members personalities can stand out without relying on shrill formulaic opinions or trampling the others.

Elizabeth has no view, only sayings applied with little apparent experience or intelligence.

Rosie blocks the view with the toxic cloud of her inflated ego. Forget the gay thing it is just a red herring. The real L word here is Loud as in loud and overbearing.

50. Elizabeth doesn't live in the real would. She is so narrow minded I feel sorry for her husband. She has nothing to offer that is related to todays world. She should listen and learn from the other women on the View. They all earned their careers the hard way . They are intelegent and their opinions count. Elizabeth is so silly who cares what her views are. She is like talking to my teenage grandaughter. And one more thing PLEASE NO STAR

51. Rosie is running the shown on The View. As funny as she is, she is creeping me out with her gay agenda , givaways, and fawning over all children "helpers" on the show. It's too much... I don't know how much longer I'll stay tuned in...

52. I really like seeing Rosie back on TV. She is a real asset to The View. She truly researches every guest and is well versed in just about everything. Elisabeth is a twit. When watching the show about Katrina and Rosie said they should be doing more for the residents instead of putting so much money for a new stadium, Elisabeth, "maybe, they could let the kids run around inside the stadium". I almost choked on my coffee. I can believe what comes out of her mouth. Where is duct tape when you need it.
I would also like to add the I think Joy Behar is a great asset. I will miss Merideth, but think the show will do well. It is having some growing pains, I really enjoy it though!
