Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger's contentious war of words continues on full steam ahead.

Since their divorce in 2002, Baldwin and Basinger have been involved in an ongoing custody battle over their daughter Ireland.

In the October issue of GQ, Baldwin unleashes a barrage of insults aimed at one of Basinger's lawyers, Judy Bogen. He calls Bogen a "300-pound homunculus whose face looks like a cross between a bulldog and a clenched fist. She's this hideously angry-looking woman. She'd snarl and hiss."

Basinger retorts, "I am appalled by the statements made by Alec Baldwin in GQ. I am sickened by the fact that somebody can speak this way about another human being. My lawyers, Judy Bogen and Neal Hersh, have done nothing but fight to protect my daughter and me from this vile behavior. After reading this article, everybody will finally see what I've known and experienced for many years."

Basinger's lawyer Neal Hersh tells TMZ, "His recent statements in GQ show that he continues to be out of control. This is precisely what Kim has been fighting against all these years."

31. I love Alec Baldwin..He is a great actor. Sorry about his personal problems, but that don't change my thoughts. I still like him. He is a great actor.

32. Trish, you're probably the only idiot on the planet who loves that slob. Poor girl--get a life. The pig is as horrible an actor as his brother the drunk--and that's REALLY horrible. He also breaks promises. He vowed he would move out of the country if Bush were re-elected. And he's still here, running around offering his unsolicited nonsensical opinions on everything, none of which is of any concern to people other than r pathetic fans like you. A real piece of crapola.

I think both Kim and Alec are doing a great disservice to their child with this bickering and courtroom drama.....they both need to grow up...they are now divorced ...it isn't about them anymore..it is about their child, Ireland.....they have such anger, animosity , and immaturity towards each other... what are they teaching their child? this drama has been going on for years...and all they have to show is all the stress and and energy they wasted on being control freaks......they BOTH need professional help.....I wish that for the sake of their child they could try and think of her and her best interests and not themselves.......they need to realize that when you have one minute of anger, you lose 60 seconds of happiness.....I wish them both luck.....

HUMONCULOUS

It is Latin for "little man".

Just because someone uses a big word, doesn't mean they know the defintition.

36. I have to agree, she looks like the dog emblem on the old Mack trucks....all of this has made my life seem so normal. I think they both should end the fighting and let this woman use their money to get some plastic surgury....agreed???

39. IT'S ALWAYS GOOD WHEN A PERSON....LIKE ALEC SHOWS HIS TRUE COLORS TO THE PUBLIC. THIS MAN HAS MAJOR ANGER ISSUES.... RATHER THAN MANAGING IT (WIERD POPULAR TERM), HE SHOULD GET SOME SERIOUS HELP. THIS MAN HAS SO MUCH ANGER THAT IT'S SEAPING OUT OF HIS PORES. HE NEEDS SOME SERIOUS THERAPIES LIKE EFT. CHECK IT OUT ALEC. 40. I think they are both pathetic, sad people who are unable to put the needs of their daughter first. Fine, you don't want to be married anymore and everyone knows you cannot stand one another - but for the sake of your child just end the fighting and try and be civil. This poor kid is going to spend years in therapy.

Of the two, I dislike Basinger but I despise Baldwin - that said, Basinger is very mean spirited -- I will never forget how she ridiculed Charles Gibson after she appeared on his morning show years ago. Made fun of his nose hair -- poor guy. Now she is so outraged that Baldwin is taking pot shots at her lawyer's appearance.
I agree with the earlier poster -- the attorney must be doing her job well and really getting to him for him to lash out that way.

Sad petty people -- they truly deserve one another -- wish they'd stayed together.

41. Alec: you sweaty, OVERWEIGHT, overly hairy, ugly, slimey pig! And I'm being nice. You are SO gross.

I'm no fan of Kim or Alec. She seems so strange to me. She was on Jay Leno a while back talking about opening a bag/box company -- explaining in boring detail what makes a good bad versus a bad bag. Scintillating!

But if I had to choose sides, I'd go with Kim. Alec just grosses me out!! BLECCCH!!

Calling the lawyer fat is really the pot calling the kettle black. At least she's not overcome with ugly body hair!

43. I think I remember something about Mr. Baldwin making a comment that went something like this. "If Bush becomes President, I am moving to Canada." Well, what is taking you so long to get there 'Alec the puke'. I don't think anyone will be running to the movie theaters to see him. Kim, his ex-wife, now, that's a different story. 45. I have to agree Punk B*tch --- calling that lawyer a bulldog is an insult to bulldogs everywhere -- I think they should sue her for fraudulent impersonation!

As for everyone who has mentioned the 'if Bush wins I'm moving out of the country thing'... that was two years ago. If you don't have a new quote by now - you didn't really have that much to start with now did you?

When it comes to acting - Alec is the better actor.
When it comes to their daughter - they both need personal therapy & parenting lessons.
When it comes to personalities - I'll take Alec's personality (though political and loudly voiced) over Kim's personality (I'm a victim so do what I want - whah! - gimme, gimme) any day.
As for looks - Kim was pretty in her younger years, which got her far, but unfortunately beauty fades and she's got nothing else to fall back on.
Alec is your typical middle-aged man, they are larger than they were at 25 (let's face it), but at least he has some intelligence to help him in his later years.
