I was flabbergasted at the poll taken which showed only 32% of those polled found no truth to the allegation that Oprah & Gayle were "a little gay". Truly, we are living amongst BOZOs. First, the thing with Steadman - that right there is your biggest clue. And not just once. OVER AND OVER OVER YEARS. WARNING: How many years was the engagement/wedding ongong/offgoing? He was her fall guy - plain and simple. Do you REALLY think a female like Oprah is going to go on husbandless. Get real! Yes she and Gayle are partners. And there's no harm in that...I just wish she could be more open about her private life, but today's society is simply not ready for that. Wake up, People. Oprah and Gayle are partners PERIOD. Partners as in Life Parters. Americans never ceases to amaze me with their total lack of cluenesses. I adore Oprah! She deserves complete happiness with whoever it is. And isn't it ashame that if the truth about her and Gayle came out, that happiness would reach a crisis becaue people are so hypocritical - they only want the Oprah whose image they've been sold on. I don't know who is more pathetic - blind fans and supporters of Oprah, or the closet she has to stay in to keep her fan base. I love you, Oprah. I say do what makes you happy - a more generous soul would be very hard to find. Tom Cruise is a controlling Jerk. Show me one picture where he and Katie look happy without Katie cringing. She isn't a lover/wife to him - she is an obsession. Screw him, Oprah. He was probably afraid you'd steal all the pulicity. And he would have been right. You go, girl.

1938. Oh, yes. I forgot to take Rosie apart while I was defending Oprah. And I will give Rosie kudos for opening that door. I used to watch Rosie in the 80's as an MTVdj - I knew she was gay then. You can just tell. I'm straight - but the majority of my friends are gay - and I am totally lost without a gay boy-friend. They are always so funny - jumping into any old song and dance routine to cheer me up - those guys are the greatest. But, back to my point - I do know gays and Rosie, even then, was about as gay as it gets. Now, however, the only thing she acts like she's missing is a sex-change operation. Rosie has a big mouth, for some reason no one reminded her that while she's making lots of money, she needs to excersize her words with FAR MORE CARE. She comes across as a loudmouth knowitall who knows nothing - with a huge chip on her shoulder. I never could stand The View. If there is a gayer (pardon the pun) show on TV, I'm unaware of it. Rosie needs to go - the entire coffee klatching View needs to go. It's a waste of network time and has always been totally STUPID in the way of entertainment. Give them al the boot - especially Babawawa. One of the MOST, without a doubt, overrated celebs in history.

1939. MY god all of this is out of control... you turn around and no matter what anyone says they turn it around or make it out to be this HUGE thing. People voice opinions and when them opinions hit home people get pissed. Shows like the view are not rehearsed so yes you will get some contraversial things coming out of peoples mouths... you dont like it dont watch. If you cant take criticism or ridiculed then dont turn on the damn tv because your going to be miserable. So people need to get the hell over it. Its a bunch of bullsh*t.

1941. I feel sorry for anyone that is visible to the public as an entertainer, politition, etc.
Don't you folks have anything better to do than to wonder or guess or start rumors about these people? Whatever Rosie or Oprah. or any person in the public eye is it is their privilige, their life, their business & not the publics". I think that the gossip journalists, the writers for the tabloids and in general the papprazzi blow all these rumors, stories out of proportion.
Rosie probably was out of line about her so called imitation of a Chineese person in regards to the Danny Divito story. I know that comedians as part of their act do make comments or racial slurs about all races, religions & nationalities. I think that all of us should be more sensitive and repect those that are diferent than ourselves.
Who cares if a person is gay, straight, a lesbian, what religion a person is, their nationality, their beliefs. As long as each person doesn't attempt to push their beliefs or way of thinking on another it is their business only what or who they are. We are all human beings, we all bleed & we all have feelings. If only everyone would treat each other with the respect that they deserve & let each person live their own lives the way they want to as long as they aren't hurting any one else.
We are not our brother's keeper or his judge. GOD is our judge. Although there are some who don't believe there is a GOD, but that is their right. However it isn't their right to say no prayer in schools, or in public activities, or to take ONE NATION UNDER GOD out of our pledge of allegence. If those things are against their beliefs, no one is asking them to say the pledge or listen to the prayers from the BIBLE. It didn't hurt me or infringe on my rights or my beliefs or how I live however I choose as long as I'm not hurting anyone else.
I'm not saying we have to love one another, but we should learn to respect one another.

1942. I use to like Rosie when she had her on show, but that got old after she attacked Tom Selleck and she just wasn't what I wanted to watch anymore.

As long as she's on the View, I will not be watching. The ratings may have gone up a little, but not with honest, ordinary people. She's a libral, ,libral person and is trying to run the show herself and she just gets under my skin. and I use to just love her......She's changed and not for the better.

1943. Oh stop with the sins.... judging someone is a sin and its just as bad. Being gay isnt a choice... only living openly gay is a choice. Read something else besides the bible and maybe you'd be a little less ignorant. Im sure god doesnt like stupid people who believe everything coming from one source.

Besides rosie is doing it for shock value.... who cares whos gay and whos not. We have bigger issues to deal with today than who Oprahs gift spending expenses are going towards.

1944. Just because 2 women are very close friends they dont have to be gay. Rosies sees gay because she is gay and if it were her it would be that type of relationship. Oprah and gayle have been friends forever. They were friends before Oprah became famous. Oprah has lots of money and she is a very very well known celebirty her circle of close freinds that have not befreinded her is i am sure very small. At least she knows that her friend Gayle is her friend becasue she really cares about her and not her money. Now whats gay about that. As far as her being so attentive to this govenor coming out that he is gay. That is her job people she is doing and interview she is suppose to be attentive and say she can relate does not have to mean relate to being gay she could be saying she is relating to how he feels in general.

And yes being Gay is a sin. Even if you dont like it the Word of God is the Word of God. But rest assure that God hates homosexuality but he does not hate the person that is practicing that lifestyle. Salvation is availble to all even the Person that is practicing that lifestyle.

As for Oprah you guys can talk all you want but she the one holding the millions and she knows who she is and does not have to answer to anyone even an outspoken ,rude and vulgar and certainly not funny Ms Rosie Odonnel.

1945. Why is it that Oprah and Gail have to be gay because they are so close, in the black community you make stroung frindships
like that and we look at it as having another brother or sister
with a bond just as strong as if they were family. Our kids call
each other auntie or uncle ,cousin,nice.nephew,grandma,granpa even mama,and
daddy an we are no more related than the man in the moon but thats just how strong we can feel for one another and the fact that Oprah has not married Stedman buy now does,ent mean anything look at how long Goldie Horn and is it Kevin
Swaysic I may not have gotten his name right but they have grown children togeather and has never gotten married there are a lot of white stars who have been togeather for years and are noit married and who have long time friends even joy and
her boyfriend and I,m sure she has at least one really close girlfriend she can talk to. So lets not be so quick to call names
just hope that in this world of so much fonie people that we can
find a friend like they have who is really and truly that a friend.
